Good to CW is on the hunt too.

YW John

Oh Yeah! I love reading news like that

That 2nd article about Christopher William Smith (aka Rizler). The guy is a certified freaking moron. He was also published on Wikipedia if you're interested in reading more about it.

Anything bad said about, to, for or otherwise of the posters of these awful ads deserves them. Now I want to say really nasty things to these guys. But they will never see it or care in the slightest. They have done their dirty work and we are giving them more then they could hope for. We keep their ads up front, on the first page.

I ask you all DO NOT respond. Yes it will take will power I know. CW will delete them when they get to it and hopefully no one will see them much at all. This tactic will dis-empower these people and will make it less useful for them to do this.

With each reply we play into their whole marking model. Do not be part of their game.

We need only to report them.

John

Thats what I need is a button that makes everything Groovy! Hey thanks for the reminder. In the past before this thread we including me would respond to these postings with righteous indignation, well justified I might add. Yes it felt good to rant in those threads and give all those reading them a taste of just how we feel. Then it hit me what am I doing? Not only am I not having any impact on the malignant fools that post these things but worst yet I am helping them by keeping their post up front. I made this thread some time ago in answer to this situation. The membership have been outstanding in keeping the faith on this. It is in my view a major coup that we as a whole have followed so wonderfully to this idea.

Its you guys that have been the force behind this. Without your cooperation it wouldn't work. To me that speaks volumes of the enormous discipline of this entire forum. It is you and you alone that make this forum the best place on the net. I truly thank each and every one of you.

We do seem to have a couple of people that are not with the program. Also it seems that it is getting some action by the number of people clicking on it. What some may not know is their viewing of it may be logged. LOL Not all things are anonymous on the net.

I clicked on both purposefully to get to the report tag, and found that they were already reported.

Perhaps others are doing the same?

Yeh John. You've gone to the trouble of bumping the other out of the way then some one comes along and brings it back on top. What can we do but wait on our moderator/s.

Idiot me! I was bumping the threads above the spam until I got a clue that that wasn't working. I must have bumped 6 threads before I saw the non effect it had. When I did start bumping the threads below the spam some numskull would post to the spam thread. So I posted the plea to stop the posting to that thread. I had to go out and just got back so I see things are back to normal. BTW thanks all for your help and seeing what I was doing and not thinking I am a prude. I am not.
