But they will never see it or care in the slightest. They have done their dirty work and we are giving them more then they could hope for. We keep their ads up front, on the first page. I ask you all DO NOT respond. Yes it will take will power I know. CW will delete them when they get to it and hopefully no one will see them much at all. This tactic will dis-empower these people and will make it less useful for them to do this. With each reply we play into their whole marking model. Do not be part of their game. We need only to report them. Best John A bump... a high class bump, this one is complete with a facilitation/explanation. Get your footwear from a recognized retailer kids... But I do have some nice watches for sale if anyone is interested...

Don't most of these "Spam Artists" get paid by the number of hits redirected to a website? Seems to me the simplest way to discourage them is to not click on the links they provide...Eventually they'll get tired and go somewhere else...Or have I missed something somewhere (didn't feel like wading thru 8 pages of posts)...

Thanks for the heads-up guys. This thread has turned out to be pretty useful. Sort of my intention. LOL What made it really work is you coming here and being present. Your support has been priceless. Heck, I don't have to bump it any more. Its clear that the membership is your greatest asset. They have been the real power behind this. Without their approval and acceptance this could not work. They are the ones that should be thanked.

FYI - moved to Coffee House. I hope you left a copy in the Sonar forum. Though I guess I could copy this if need be. Also it sort of bothers me that I am now in this forum when I never intended to be here at all. I know I have no copyright to my posts here and CW can do with them as they please but I thought I was following the rules in never posting a post that should be moved or further was even slightly in violation of the TOS. I don't know why this was moved but it was meant for the Sonar forum and that forum alone. If I was concerned about the other forums here I would have made a similar post in them. That said I do feel a bit honored to have this post have such a long life and finding its way here. Then again I am some what sad that it has had such a long life.

It seems to me that your post was put here because they are really keeping an eye on the Sonar forum, and less here in the Coffee House. What I gather is your thread, will alert the MODS of SPAM that infiltrates here.

And the (tinned) meat goes on. Don't forget folks say ya, boo, sucks to the spammers here and not their smelly threads, just let them fade away. You naughty bad spammers stop spamming here, ya hear me. There, that should frighten them for a little while at least.

Hey Moderators: here's a link to more that's currently contaminating these forums..... http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=1608433 It makes me sick... these spam vermin are now bumping their own spam using new ID's (always low post count...dead give away) cause they figured out we were not replying. another 2 added to the list ... I also answered 2 other questions just so they wouldn't appear top of the list... I suddenly have a total dislike to anything mp3 / mpeg converting wise.. although part of it is seeing which baker will pick it up first... they should keep a league table of who reports the most / clears it..might make it a bit more fun.
