twigman - very sorry to hear you've had such a horrible experience with this.

mine was the opposite.  very prompt and professional. 

cakewalk support will have to sort that out for you.  if you don't get a response from cake then I'd suggest PM'ing one of the mods and they can hook you up with the right person to email.

both!  that's why they can help you or at least get you to the right person for help!  just make sure and tell them that you've already tried the customer service form and haven't gotten a response.

I received my order confirmation email on 30th Nov immediately after the transaction and then received my invoice attached to a further email today.

Can I ask @Twigman. Given we're from the same(ish) neck of the woods, have you had similar?

Received my order confirmation Nov 29.
Heard nothing mre until yesterday I phoned and was told it would ship last night.
then yesterday pm I got an e-mail saying that it would ship in another 3 weeks.
Then, just now, I got an e-mail saying it was shipped last night.
But still not received the normal confirmation of shipping/invoice e-mail.
Haven't a clue what to believe!!

It horrible to left out of the know. I'm just going to sit tight for now. The snow here along with the Christmas rush may make it damn near impossible to get things before the end of the year. I've been awaiting a WinXP Pro CD from Germany for a week and a half now. It was scanned in at the UK Hub 4 days ago without any movement since.

@Mike - Nice going. I knew NI would look kindly on people who were trying to buy but failed due their website issues. I have another thread in the Hardware section where I had a bit of a situation with a Behringer UCG102 I use to mess around on the fly. To cut a long story short, it came with 3 NI Combos bundled (in demo mode). The idea is that only one of these Combos can be activated as part of your deal with the remaining two having to be purchased if need be. You aren't given the choice of which of the three you can have. Your unlockable Combo is pre-determined via the Combo specific serial number on the case. I didn't care much for the one I was stuck with. On dropping NI a line with regard to a separate matter, they kindly offered to lock my designated Combo and send me the serial number for the one I liked better. Now that was very accommodating of them. I never asked for this. I mentioned it in the passing in my email to them when querying something else. 'They' offered to go out of their way to do this. Nice folks.

However, if I haven't received my GR4 Pro by 2012, I may be back to reactivate this thread.
