Yea I'm steering clear of that one with my little "works perfectly X-Fi I bought 4 years ago".  It didn't take them long to sweep that post down the hall.

It must be those Monday crankies... I keep having this urge to go upstairs and mention the SB AWE 32 (remember those?) that I got nearly 7-8 years of good service out of before it expired. Never tried to record with it, but a little speculation could probably get things rolling... [:D)]
