Bravo! So it is possible for one person to play with both hands and for more than four bars at a time...  Oh dear, I suspected as much. I have a long way to go then...  This is the first Christmassy thing so far this year that hasn't made me want to go, Bah Humbug. Let me tell you that is a massive achievement. Huge! Thanks Tim. For once I recorded this in the studio so I could use Ivory for the piano sound. Much better than a non-miked grand actually. :)
Jon, it's possible with enough practice. In my case, a LOT of practice! And as well as you get all 4 of your appendages going at once on a kit, I imagine you could do this too. :) So glad you didn't go 'bah humbug.' One of my goals was to do a rather non-traditional version of an upbeat song...glad it translated and made you smile. Merry Christmas. :)

Beautifully and imaginatively played, Janet. I watched the video and listened on SoundClick. Watching your hands was intimidating for me, being out of the 'hunt and peck' keyboard players school.

Finally--I'm getting around to posting on this one.
I've listened to it many times, and I really like what you have going on here.
It's really nice to see you playing. Looks like you are having fun, in spite of the camera.
We are our own worst critics. You sell yourself far too short. This is good. I like the nod to a more jazzy style than you normally play.

No, I mean that you could be her student, and she doesn't even teach! Instead, she does! She is a natural. She only plays the one instrument, but I'd have to say that she is extremely talented. She took lessons for three or four years, then took off with it on her own. I think I might have inherited my improvisational skills from her. We both have perfect pitch as well. If I ever get her to come back up here from FL, I'll try to record her playing some stuff and share it with you all.
