Jonbouy IK Obi I would be VERY careful about "leaking" IK employees opinions like that. IK is a VERY small company and even more so when you narrow it down to just the US office, which I assume the employee works from because you write English well. I already have a name in my head I'm VERY certain of, not that I care but if the wrong person sees this at IK that employee will be called out. And what does this even mean to anyone here? Is it a threat? Whatever it is it is completely bizarre in a pretty dark way.
Indeed, certainly seems like an attempt to intimidate. How does one leak an opinion?

IK Obi @smedberg, no it is not my job, but if I know an answer I always try and help. Unfortunately I do not know everything here at IK so we have a full department that is here to help you. We'd have them on the forums, but unfortunately not everyone at IK has thick skin. If you ask around I have helped in countless PMs and helped people along in every way that I can. Could you just go away for a while? It's great when company drops by, but it's important that they know when it's time to call it a day. Ever since the slashpad stuff came out you've been spending a lot of time trying to convince us that it, and the company you work for, are great. Fair enough, you've got a job to do, but IK is getting over exposed around here. Do we really have to call up IK and tell them to come fetch their lost kid? Go away and come back when the next big thing gets released.
Regards, John I want to make it clear that I am an Eedjit. I have no direct, or indirect, knowledge of business, the music industry, forum threads or the meaning of life. I know about amps. WIN 10 Pro X64, I7-3770k 16 gigs, ASUS Z77 pro, AMD 7950 3 gig, Steinberg UR44, A-Pro 500, Sonar Platinum, KRK Rokit 6

ik obi,i think within the last month you have gone from a guy who has had somewhat of a half decent experience in the forum to toaly damaging you name..this is a qoute from you: "Trollololoolololol. When people ask what I do for a living I'm just going to reply deal with Trolls." this makes me sick. weather or not you feel like your not getting the responce you like in here or not,you should look the other way because face it,you are given this privelege to come on here and do your marketing, and if you guys dont know why? im just amazed. its because cakewalk uses ik multimedia in their product. example: x gear. now most vendors that do work with cakewalk are allowed to show up on the forum and promote certain things. but this thread and a few others have no becaome an eye sour and you my friend are right in the middle of this cluster problem, with your responces. if i were you i would go cool off for a bit then come back in a while because you have got a few people rather upset and sooner or later someone is going to email a copy of all these threads to customer care at ik multimedia and if they see some of the things you are writing, jepordizing a possible clause to be here through cakewalk, its not going to be pretty on your end. ive yet to see you offer any real positive feed back in the last 2 threads ive read. wheather or not you are allowed to be here through marketing agreements with cakewalk. you have lost all respect from me and as i see it, many others now. you are slowly wearing out your welecome.

It's all obvious to me. IK paid Slash a lot of money to model his amps, stompboxes AND his hat. Now they're sending out the troops to try to recoup their expenses (losses). Just my opinion............

Here is a thought...albeit after a stiff martini and a glass of Albarino... Ol IKobi is, if you consider it, in a no win situation. He is tasked by his overlords to infiltrate (I.e. have a presence) on several non IK forums and, without breaking the TOS...which is impossible... Or offending anyone...again, apparently impossible...help people be inclined to purchase IK products. This is how he feeds his family. It seems a fairly thankless job. How does IK know how many Sonar users have purchased IK products directly due to IKobi's stealth marketing? I have empathy for him. So I cut him some slack. But I still watch him with a close eye. YMMV.

YMMV. Oh, I keep the personality out of it as much as is possible 'olpal. But I'd suggest selling Avon door to door would be a more honourable pursuit than the one he's currently engaged in. Basically nobody really likes a professional spammer on a bulletin board because historically they are shown to degrade the integrity of a community by the time everyone has joined in with equal justification to tout their wares. As a result an explicit 'no advertising' rule is common for a board administrator to include. The community eventually dies if this isn't enforced because nobody reckons it's worth going there in the end including the live spammers, then all that remains is a long list of automated spam bots leaving messages to themselves. Here's just one real life example of a once thriving community that suffered the same fate. I know this for a fact as up until a few years ago I used to enjoy participating there. It's safe to look at but I would strongly suggest not touching anything once you're there. http://www.reasonstation.net/board/ Wanna join? No need, it's coming here soon courtesy of an IK Multimedia exclusive deal especially for us.

Yup...JB...that's why I said its basically a no win situation. And over here in the formerly-bad-but-now-possibly-good-ol-USofA times is tough and any job is a good job. That's where the slack comes in. BTW...have you seen my rainbow or unicorn?? They seem to have gone missing.

I will check my tea leaves once I've finished this fine brew and see if I can't locate yours. The tea leaves never lie. I'm doing consultations with 'em these days at £50 a pop if anyone is interested. Well, times are hard here too you understand.

That's some hardcore spam there... triple X style... or is it triple S? That board is like the United Nations of spam... I think I even saw a post from a Ghanaian prince... something about if I wire him 10,000USD he will send a Russian virgin to my house with a bottle of pills that will make my pee pee bigger. The pills that is.

Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have linked it. AcmeInc Obi will likely be over there tomorrow to see if he can occupy the turf. He's a proper Strategist after all them bots don't stand a chance up against that kind of clout, but at least he wont have to pretend he's everyone's special friend.
