Already did that. Made no difference, but it's ok now. Did a quick google search and it seems that it's quite a common problem with YT for some reason.

A few random thoughts: People who lack confidence are often the most fearful of different ideas. Those who have no interest in listening or learning have no use for civil disagreements. Are the TOS that hard to follow? Who cares that "they" got away with worse, and how is that supposed to justify wrongful action on our part? As far as I'm concerned if you can't follow the TOS you deserve to get a time out - and that goes double for my friends, who I'd like to think are worthy of higher standards, not lower ones. If someone behaves immaturely, responding in kind is not the mature thing to do. I like people who have different opinions than me, as sometimes it gives me a new perspective on things. Even if they're still wrong. If only immaturity was purely a function of youth.
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

sharke I think the thread in question deserved at least a little ragging. It was entitled "Bad impressions of X3" and yet consisted of a few cut and paste quotes from people on other forums talking about Cakewalk and Gibson as companies - none of it related to anyone's actual bad impression of X3 the product. So in my opinion it was spreading needless negativity simply by virtue of its title. If I see a post title like that then I'm immediately going to think "uh-oh, someone's had a bad experience with X3." Who wouldn't? So to open it up and find that it was nothing more than a couple of quotes about Roland, Gibson, and past versions of Sonar....well I'm not surprised it got a negative response.
Ok, to all, I come in peace. I remember this thread. The title was completely misleading and the the person who started it posted stuff that had nothing to do with X3 or anyone's actual impressions. I edited the subject line. Then I took another step to check the OP and he had about 12 posts or something. I looked at his email and he made very little effort to hide his real identity. Someone we have banned here about 50 times. You probably know who it is. I believe he is also using another alias. I deleted the thread and banned at least one of his identities. The point is we don't try to be heavy handed. We can accept criticism. I am not sure what others said afterwards but the thread was removed due to the GP...I mean OP. I just want to clarify this point. Please continue on with your conversation :)

I'm a bit baffled by this response. I have absolutely no problem with Andrew's actions in this matter.

As the senior moderator for another popular forum, I can say that this is very normal behavior. It still IS their forum. It's like playing for the Yankees baseball team and complaining when they require you to be clean shaven... So I wouldn't let it get to you Larry. Heck, I think that's pretty nice that the mods actually come in here once in a while and explain things - they aren't being paid to do that you know.

That's just the kind of comment I'd expect from you! I feel I can no longer take part in this thread if that's the kind of negative response you are going to come up with. If there were lines I could have read between in that post I'm sure they would have been there. So, I'm going to reprimand you just in case. So there! And don't think you can persuade me to come back to this thread either. (at least, without a sizeable fee being involved)

Huh? I'm so confused. I am sorry if I offended you. This wasn't directed at you or this thread. This was in reference to the thread on the SONAR forum which I put in quotes. And also had nothing to do with Rain. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding.
