[Answered] What does "Lock Screenset" do?

I expected that locking a screenset would prevent that screenset from being modified but it doesn't seem to work that way. Specifically, which aspects of a screenset does Lock Screenset actually lock?

    It does actually lock it from saving the changes that you make.  for instance, modify it when it is locked, go to a different screenset, then come back and see your new changes have not been remembered.
