We bought Platinum for Beepster!!

He's a good guy and he'd be buying it if he could. No reason to leave him salivating outside the fence.

Beep now has enough$ to get Platinum and is busy buying it on the last day it's available!

Thanks to all who piled on!

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Re: Let's buy Platinum for Beepster 2015/02/28 09:31:04 (permalink)
Wow. I'm speechless, guys. What a nice thread to wake up to. Things have certainly not been easy for me financially for a while (long, pathetic story) but I've been doing alright with what I've already got. I am indeed drooling over some of the new features and MixRecall in particular would be a huge help because my mixing is still a little shaky. Being able to quickly a/b mixes would definitely improve my final product. I'm not being held up or anything by not upgrading just yet though so certainly no emergency. Having the current version would however give me a chance to scour the new features and root out issues+workarounds which of course means I'd be able to give better help/advice on the forum and report problems so they can get patched.

However this turns out just the offer is amazing and giving me a much needed boost. What an awesome community.

Thanks, guys. You rock!

I've messaged one of the Bakers to see if they can set it up for people to pay through their store accounts. Might make things easier for everyone. Failing that I'll get something else set up.

BTW I'm in Canada. Not sure if that would affect discounts from other online retailers so figured I'd mention it.

You guys are awesome. :-D

Anyone know which Baker's are more likely to be around on a Saturday or maybe one of you fine Host folks have a direct line to them? I'll get a PP addy to you guys if they can't do it.

@orhanproject... I think a Cake store gift card/wishlist thing would be cool. I had mentioned that a while back. Works great on Amazon and I think would work great here.

I could probably convince the Bakers that since we all promised the $$ on the last day and we just didn't have a way to pay it, we should get an extension. I can hold my EDaMp amp sim for next month as hostage.

And thanks, Craig. I should be able to get this all sorted this morning.

Cheers.
