Ha, no, of course not. I'm don't play stocks. Too much risk!
What I'm saying is that to a few of us on this forum, Cakewalk's lifetime offer sounded "too good to be true". It reminded me of other companies which had done similar things out of a desperate need for a short-term cash influx. The lifetime updates offer smelled funny to me, which is why I posted about it.
But then the "experts" said we were being overly paranoid. And other things. They apparently believed that because they used Sonar more, and wrote about Sonar more, and posted on this forum more, that their sense of smell was better than ours.
Either that, or they just ignored the smell. 'Cause they're hardcore. To them, bad smells are part of the game. Like a farmer smelling manure or an athlete smelling sweat or a soldier smelling mud and blood or a mortician smelling all sorts of nasty things. Smells, schmells, they don't heed no stinkin' smells. Smells are for sissies...
Anyway, I wish I'd listened to my nose and ignored those "experts", because the "lifetime updates" that I bought only got me another 4 or 5 months of patches from which I saw no improvements.
