Lynn Dan, this is a terrific song. The mix is everything I would expect from you. I particularly like the drums because they just sit so well in the mix. The key to this mix, for me, is the dynamics which elevates this song to a more cinematic approach. I'm so happy I got to hear this!
Thank you Lynn! Remember when my mixes were pretty terrible? Wasn't all that long ago...lol. Regards, Dan

cwestmont Great as always, Dan. I think this song works on every level. At the composition level, it unfolds and engages interest as each section comes into play. Love the very patient transition between sections. This is a piece that is easy to imagine as a track for an animation sequence. The instrumentation choices are excellent. At the engineering level, the mix is pristine and each instrument has its own space. That may be lost on the average listener, but the members of this board can easily recognize the wonderful craftsmanship that went into making this. Top drawer stuff all the way around.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the piece as it was a lot of fun to do. Regards, Dan

Rimshot Really good mix in my ATH M50's. The bottom with bass and kick are spot on. Really liked the synth leads. Nice mood. Well done.
Thanks Jimmy! Same phones I use to mix on... Regards, Dan

Nice, a bit cinematic or even game music. Love the synthbass (with a bit of delay) that came in around 1:15 :). Good stuff!!! :)

Noisy Neighbour Yeah, this sounds really great! Nice arrangement and mix. Actually this could also work well as a foundation for a song with vocals. ...not that there is anything missing like it is now, the lead part is carrying the song perfectly. Good stuff! Best regards, Daniel
Like the scarecrow says in the Wizard of Oz "if I only had a voice...", lol. Thanks for the kind words. Regards, Dan

Only listened to the new version: Fantastic soundscape! Timing, reverb and mix are top notch. You keep the the interest alive though it is a instrumental song. Great work!

Dan, Wow! Great tune, love when you turned it on at 2:22 ish, very nice after the lush intro. Nothing jumps out at me in a negative. You did a great job on the drums! Nice ride (no pun intended) on this one.
