I know I'm resurrecting an older thread. I guess not much has changed. I wanted to mention that although I've retired my iphones as phones they still make great synths. Since I've recently had the need to use a synth on the go for some live work I throw the old iphone in my pocket with the IK connectors and plug it right into my small controller.Makes a great pads/filler synth to use with the piano. I have used the free versions of a few synths. No one would ever know it's a phone synth.
