Well, nevertheless, I decided to take the plunge. So, I made a screenshot of my folders, and VST paths, planning to uninstall the old version, and reinstall the new. I uninstalled it because the past 2 times I tried installing over the old I got a Database Error that I never could fix. So, as I said, I uninstalled the old. When it let me start installing the new it asked me WHICH internal apps I wanted to install, but not WHERE. I was hoping the core kernel would automatically see those apps and their paths. So, I don't want to go any further without knowing what it's going to, or won't do. So, could someone please educate me on how to make the new one see all of the old paths so I don't have to reinstall EVERYTHING? That was another reason I didn't like this. That's a real pain if that's the case.
