Glad to see the information Matt, how you been bud? In case I can't get my V 700 stuff up and running after the update this is the model I'm looking to replace it with. This and a focusrite 2i4.
Most all I do on the board is the pan control the faders the transport and the save undo. Everything else I just use the mouse.

Are the monitor speakers outputs part of this boad or would I use the audio interface for that.
I guess I could look at the documentation for that though. Thank you.

Well that was surprisingly painless. Thanks Matt!
The unit feels nice and solid and the controls feel smooth as well. More important what I need in the way of functionality apparently works.

Hi folks - just received my X Touch today and cannot get it to work - I followed Craig's video and the kind advice on this thread - nothing - zip.
I am replacing a Tascam FW1082 (being used only as a control surface) with the X touch which I had working fine.
Really disappointed right now - any ideas?

I now have the X touch working perfectly. I deleted the audio.ini and Cakewalk.ini files and allowed Sonar to create new. Must have been some leftover options from my previous control surface (FW1082) that didn't agree with the X-Touch.

Just saw this and glad you got it fixed.  So far that's the first time I've seen this complaint.

Software: Cakewalk by Bandlab; Adobe Audition; Band-in-A-Box audiophile; Izotope Ozone; Encore; Melodyne; Win 10 Pro, 64-bit.

Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.

X-touch with fixed overlay is pretty cool in Sonar.  Thanks to Azslow3 for the photoshopped map.

Is there a way to fix those issues:
  1. The timer only works with MBT not HMSF (SMPTE), why?
  2. Fader gain unity not at odb but more or less +2db, why?
  3. The "Clip" led not blinking in the meters when a channel is overloaded

Cheers,

Hi everyone,
Have a Behringer X-Touch and use it with Sonar.  I used Matt Finleys setup (riojazz) (Thank you riojazz) for the X-Touch. Now I have many of the buttons (right side) working but some have no use at all.  I know that the labels are different on the X-Touch than the program uses but I will be making a template that will be laid over with correct labels that I want to set up.  Is there a way to change the usage of the buttons to my liking?  I also know that I can change the function keys through Sonar (Mackie Controller).  I looked at AZSlow program but seemed confused with it.

Thank you and God bless,
Craig

I think some aspects of the x touch work better in sonar than in pro tools.  I made this video centered around troubleshooting in my pro tools setup - but it can also apply to any daw.  It has to deal with a dropout issue I was getting - in sonar as well
