You're very welcome, and thanks for the kind words. With the arbitrary removal of my moderator, status I get the hint that I should just move on. So while I can't abandon this community completely - there are just too many cool people - I will be devoting the vast majority of my time to the harmonycentral.com forums. Dendy Jarrett (HC's Director) said I was welcome to do a "Friday's Tip of the Week" over there, and I'll probably take him up on it. He already persuaded me to do my satirical "Craig's List" column as part of the newsletter, so there's a precedent. He also assured me that if the Bakery becomes popular enough that Cakewalk ditches its forums (like many other DAW manufacturers already have), he'd be happy to migrate them to HC.
Thanks again everyone. I'm switching to Reaper. (KIDDING!!!  )
Hey, I was under the impression Gibson also own HC, and was going to inquire how this will affect your participation over there.

All I know is that it's that type of bullpuckey that made the main SONAR forum unreadable.
I have not abandoned it by any means but it became a ridiculous amount of work trying to figure out the legit request for help and the drama llama nonsense... and I have work to do at the moment.
Ain't nobeepsody got time ferdat.
If there is some kind of shift going on that can cut down on the endless bleeding drama that the SONAR forum has seemingly become then it would make it easier for folks who... yanno... actually USE the program every day to pop in and answer questions of those who are actually asking QUESTIONS in good faith.
As opposed to trying to bait contributing members into idiotic internet arguments that never go anywhere.
aaaand... now I've prattled on about it... but mayhaps it was worthwhile.

Well, in a nutshell...... Someone expressed an opinion that didn't involve kissing the OP's rear end and may have suggested that having been fired from both actual job and virtual job that he might want to take the hint and actually leave instead of just talking about leaving. This was somewhat ironic in many ways, but everyone is entitled to their opinion and all that....or at least they used to be. Anyhoo, Someone else apparently got their panties in a bunch about this and they ****ed an' moaned to the Rossers, but John had apparently dried his tears sufficiently by then to be able to see his screen again and was already deleting said opinion from the record so that his hero Graig wouldn't see it and was maybe hoping that this might somehow make up for spelling his name wrong all these years and also because apparently it's up to him to decide what opinions people are allowed to have. I think that about covers it.
