Ordered mine based upon the optimistic premise that I will actually be able to get X1 to run after the patch.

Hi Alex, Yep, I know... it's frustrating. But the reason it's taking so long is because this International distribution deal is for their entire book catalog and the publisher is a very big company. Believe it or not, none of their books on Kindle are available outside the US. Luckily, this is a one-time thing. Once it's done, the Kindle versions will be available worldwide from present to future editions. It should be any time now... Thanks! Scott -- Scott R. This is weird, Bobette links works but there's no way I can search for it on Amazon.com. If I search the Kindle store within With Amazon it only comes up as paperback.
Clicking on Bobette's link shows the kindle title but states "This title is not available for the United Kingdom".... So I guess people from the UK cannot buy it.
Searching on Amazon.co.uk shows nothing either.
I guess what you are saying Scott is that it will be available internationally soon for the Kindle, it is currently only available in the USA in electronic format.
