Bobby, I hope all of your aliases enjoyed this. "What a romp. That was great guys... hits you right from the opening riffs. Great playing all around, and Robby fantastic as usual on the vocals. Good mix too so far as my ears could tell." Philz, good fun, thanks for your review! At first glance, I thought you were commenting on the 2nd pic of Jessica Simpson? "What a rump!"

Man I really dug this, and then I listened to Indigo Infant and decided I liked it even more. My uncle is a die hard Skynrd fan. If I can remember, and that's a big if, I will slip this one on him.

Thanks Voda :-) pretty cool handle. I jumped at the opportunity to do a Skynnard cover! Love those guys. I can remember listening to the original band (before the crash) on a cassette player on a cross country trip in the back seat as a young boy. Good stuff, and classic Southern Rock. (Them) Call me the Breeze, Curtis Lowe, The Needle and the Spoon, and all of their great classic hits. Of course everyone wants Freebird? But I appreciate the deeper cuts. We are honored that you appreciated our faithful recreation/tribute version of one of the greatest bands of all time (At least one of the greatest Southern Rock bands of all time?) Careful though? The daggers can come out? Even when one is just kidding? And it's not always en-vogue to either listen to or enjoy my music? So please use caution! But it should be all about the music really, shouldn't it? Naaaaa, other stuff is really much more important? Especially on a SONGS forum! ;-)

Great song and playing, especially the guitar. Sounds great. Sounded like some timing issues on the guitar intro. Thought the vocal might be a hair loud.

Really impressive job on a really tough song to cover. Guitar is well done. Pedal steel and piano parts are spot on, particularly the piano. Best part, to me, is the vocal, you nailed it. Mix sounds good, any critique there would just be quibbling. Great collab, congratulations!

Not bad, nobody can do that bands music like they can. Great try!! The music was pretty good, although it sounded a bit thin in the stereo field sound of things. Either way I rather enjoyed this mock tune. Not bad, not bad at all.....

"This vocal is all the money."
Jimmy the Greek, thanks very much; I love southern rock :-) "Excellent all round and topped off by a brilliant vocal performance. Fantastic musicianship from everyone. Nice work guys." Blipp, good times, we want to hear your rock tune! "Great playing by both of you (hey, nice piano playing Robby!) and, of course, the usual killer vocal by Robby. " Gary, my piano playing is under rated! :-) (I love to tickle the ovaries) Thanks very much. (Sorry, typo, "Ivories") "Now this is great! Grant really rocks this music. Robby, this is a GREAT vocal. You could got to Halsted street in Chicago and play with some of those big boys. Grant blew me away. Robby, do you program those keys in midi or do you play that good? Fine tune and performances, guys!" Warren, yes Grant did a great job, and I played those keys :-) "Absoflippinlutely terrific!!! Excellent playing by both of you, your vocals are tailored perfectly for this, and the mix is right on. You have given this number that nice little Jump Blues feel --- that is the rhythm carried it, you didn't get bogged down with all that other stuff ;>) Excellent ---- tender chicken right down to the bone!!" Freddy, it was a good time, this one is in my wheelhouse :-) And Manny, I personally enjoy the 2nd one better... I could say so much? I'll just leave it be. "Cool tune guys." Thanks Mark. "Robby, you must be taking voice and piano lessons both! I have no idea how you keep up with it all AND all these great collabs!" Janet, thanks very much, more to follow! "That rocks hard... "you don't want no part of this Dewey"... Very cool guys... love the hot licks Grant... nice slide Robby... very cool..." Frank, I think I want to try some of that ca-caine? Thanks very much. "That was fun. Nice job! Love the guitar tones! Very tasty. The mix is nice and tight. Vocals are superb!" Geno, YOU sir are one of my favorite vocalists! Thank you sir! "[style="background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);"]Absolutely killer job on this dynamite Skynrd cover! [style="background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);"] [style="background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);"]Excellent playing on all of the instrumentation, fantastic vox, as always, and a nice clean, full sounding mix, to boot! Really love Grant's guitar work, and the piano jam was super, too." [style="background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);"] [style="background-color: rgb(248, 248, 248);"]Big bad Bob, you are one of the hardest Rockers I've heard here, thank you so much for your generous comments.

Big thankd Geno and Bob sure glad you enjoyed. Thanks James glad you liked iy bro. Thanks Wookiee and Voda glad you liked. Yea Chas you got me there. The original plan was for me to do all the guitars over. That was the first recording I made with my new Strat there is also a bit of string noise in there...I love it but going to take some time to get use to it. Also one thing in hindsight I wish I would have done differently is, I've always had to play the chords with the intro part when I use to do this live. For some reason it didn't occur to me that I didn't have to do both parts at the same time.
