Just thought I'd mention that personally I'm able to cut my latency in about half using SONAR 8 versus SONAR 6/7. I'm finding no need to go above 4.4ms even with large projects (2.2 doing typical writing/jamming/creation). No dropouts, clicks, or pops. Yay!

COOL!

I just loaded a sequence of a John Williams film Score I created direct from the music. It cracked and popped in S7 and still does so in S8. But call me crazy...it sounds better. I might be loosing my mind , but it does sound better. I Do Not Know Why.

so sonar 8 has better sounding cracks and pops ?? hahaha GREAT

btw: yes- eventually you are loosing your mind cos since they didnt advertise any acoustic imnprovement in the engine i am TOTALLY sure that there is none...

cheesr

What you are hearing is some of the "more" that was described in the early ads. It's a new, third party plug called "Placebo FX".

Noel, care to comment?

Could we have the specs of your PC please ? I plan to upgrade in the near future, so some infos about a PC that work well with Sonar are welcome.

Thanks.

Not sure how to get a screenshot. One cool thing I've found with the transport. Hold down FF or RR and the Now Marker slides along...very cool.

Sorry i'm such a non-tech type guy

That's one feature I've always wanted. Project 5 has it. it's very useful. Finally Sonar has it!

Yeah man that sounds great. I'm in the West Valley...Reseda/Tarzana area. Do you have a list of gigs or something? I could come by a show, grab a beer, etc.

Brandon, can we come stay at your house next NAMM? Maybe you could come pick me up from the airport, too.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

His place will be empty since he'll have to "live" at NAMM. Sure, go ahead and use his place.

Well so much for the expected ranting and raving about how cool and super slick this new version is.
Are we to assume that you "have nothing good to say" so are staying quiet?

Come on damn you, get those screenies up :D
