You probably have a 2nd email coming, ol' pal! If you don't have one in the time it would take to have a beer and a nap, you might want to reach out to JRR Shop...

Apparently it only uses iLok 2 and not iLok 1.  That adds $50 for me.  Is that correct?

From the docs I've seen, it does indeed require ilok2...

Just far enough so that it glows blue. That should do it.

Cheers,

Well..JRRShop caught on to my NEWSLETTER15 discount...and removed it...LOL

At least a few of you got it at the reduced price, so I succeeded in that aspect!

So, back to $99.00....still a good deal.

Bapu and Small,

Glad you both got in on it too before the discount got removed!

Zo, you should download the demos of them.

PCM is the same algorithm used in the acclaimed PCM series Hardware Reverbs.

They are all quite beautiful and lush sounding reverbs, which is what Lexicon is noted for.
Definitely sound more like "spaces" then "reverbs".

Closest thing I found was Redline Reverb, which is an awesome reverb, but not as "full" sounding
as the Lexicons (but not by much, and in many cases it fit better into a mix then LXP did - IMHO)

Had to bite the bullet on this after taking in advice from better ears around here.

Paid good honest money to the company and waiting for the license so I can register.

In the mean time...uh... installed it with I-Lok-0.

Heard that I-Lok 2 has feature improvements.

Some day I'll have to get me one of them things...

This is the best price I've seen for it.
The JRRShop discounted (briefly) price was about $1 more...

Hate to admit that this may be my go to reverb plug for the next couple days at least. Like Zo said, it gives spaces.

Cclarry though...

Wife said she is going to kill me for getting this, and then she is coming after you for twisting my arm to melt the plastic. Tried to tell her that it did "spaces". and has a niche not represented in the reverb vst's. Cold but pretty brown eyes glaring back. Couple nights in the backyard tent and everything will be forgotten.

Cclarry, as much trouble as you have gotten me into, really appreciate the updates you are posting.

Ahh, Lexicon reverbs...

No, not buying anything till the UA6176 pays for itself.  Luckily no AAX version so that's helping me resist the temptation.

I've always wanted this and could get it but I decided not to.   After MUCH consideration I decided to got with EWQL Spaces for the following reasons:

1) It absolutely gorgeous sounding - I thing it sounds better than the Lexicon
2) It's totally easy - true it has almost no parameters and the Lexicon has seriously deep editing but I'll get far more music done if I      don't add another complex plug-in that keeps me in tweakland.  (I can be a tweakoholic)
3) It's $150 from Sweetwater and I can use the iLok 1 that I already have.
4) It has the hall that was used for my EWQL Symphony Orchestra - that will be handy

Just food for thought.

Zo,

Was thinking about this also and was about to suggest the same when Bit came short of getting Timeless, another gift I'd like to chip in on. You beat me to it and in my case, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

My family was in dirt poverty for half a century. Now I got some modest breathing room late in life but can't forget my roots. Wonder if there's a way to easily set up some fund transfers for those of us needing a bit of help?

Anybody got any ideas?

John

P.S.  I'd happily pay everyone back...

I've been out of work for about a year now...taking care of my mother
who is not well, so my resources are exhausted.  Don't think she'll get
much better, but I'm bound to her till the time comes.  She brought me
into the world, the least I can do is see her out comfortably, regardless
of the cost...

So I say a sincere THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart...

I'm in for $10.

Larry, do you have a PayPal account?
