some of these bugs I cant even produce.
-nudge in the PRV
I do a lot of nudging. but I nudge clips, not notes. but that's how different people work so im not knocking you.

-double clicking on a drum mapped mid file not centered
didn't even try it /

-loading track templates can sometimes wipe out your existing drum maps.
I've never had this happen and I have many different drum maps (session drummer, EZ Drummer, AD drums/ some I have multiple maps for each one.

-Undo system being unreliable
I haven't seen that either (showing the history of 10000 deleted envelopes)

sorry man.
they are probably just quirks that arise once in a while.
those aren't really bugs. they are just things that happen in an imperfect world.

I know (1) was fixed prior to making some of my multiband processing templates available to users. I import those templates into new projects without problems.

if the answer is yes to 3 or more, then just maybe I'll be willing to get the lifetime update.

I'm not following your logic.

Let's just say that NONE of them are fixed.

You'll continue to use SONAR (in those "limped along" states)? If yes, why "wait" for your lifetime upgrade? Surely something else will be included along the way that makes the lifetime update offer "worth it"?

OK, I'm strapped in for the ride about how you can't do anything without those fixes and how you hate monthly updates that (for you) have broken more than they fixed* thereby still not allowing you even the most basic of functionality.

*Which is untrue for, at least, me.

You should list CWBRN numbers as well.

If you jump off the bandwagon you will NEVER get the bug fixes. Sad but true. I just avoid using the things that get me into trouble and keep shelling out the money. I WILL have a customizable user interface one day. Likely not one day soon, but one day. And so on for take lanes and various timeline issues. Lifetime updates is the answer and the only way you'll get to see if Cakewalk makes good on its promises. Remember, we were supposed to have skins by now and it didn't happen. Well, we got one, but it's a long way from what was promised in January.

I can hardly wait to see the Mac version. People will complain about bugs in the windows version and the Mac users will swear that they don't have them. That's when the serious fun starts.

Most of them are reproduced in the links above, except the 1st one which Anderton confirmed above.

That is what a bug is.

No, I am migrating away from Sonar as soon as possible because it's been a continuous stream of disappointment and hardship. I just want to see if I can get one last update that to get these bugs fixed and make finishing off existing Sonar projects less of a pain than it is already.

No, because I didn't waste my time reporting issues which nobody even looks at.

Agreed. Unfortunately I don't accept being held to ransom like that. I'm certainly not going to keep playing the game where I update every month in the hope that the longstanding bugs that severely hinder my workflow have been fixed. If they're not fixed now or by the time this offer expires, I'm just going to give up.

There are no bug free DAWs.

Some DAWs appear more buggy than others, depending on how you use them.
