it is possible maybe your devise is going in to sleep mode. / low power mode or your port is going in to sleep mode.
Have you set your Windows to run in high performance ?

As a test, I would unplug the unit, power down both the unit and your PC.
Plug it back in and reboot both.

ALSO- Make sure its in a USB 2 port and not a USB 3 port.

I have seen interfaces go in to sleep mode or the usb ports go in to sleep mode. not even re plugging them back in will wake it. I had an interface similar to this once and needed to power off/on every time I left it idle for more than 15 minutes or so.

Sleep mode disable and system run in high performance
I don't have usb 3.0 ports
I read all information about this problem at this and other forums and no solution
I think it error ASIO and It is important to know what process you need to run after the error and the problem will be exhausted

That is when Windows is using the Quad-Capture as "Standard Sound Card".
Then SONAR has no chance to start the Interface with ASIO.
Give windows an other sounddevice or disable it for Windows.
ASIO with Quad Capture works very well on 4 of my computers.

If you have disabled your soundcard in the BIOS then Windows takes control of the Quad Capture as Standard-Playback-Interface at the start of Windows. So you have to disable the Standard-Playback-Device for Windows.
In SONAR I have also checked "Share drivers with other programs".

In my case 4 Quad Captures are running with ASIO and Windows 10. 1 computer and 3 notebooks. So I can say ASIO works very well with the Quad-Capture.

My Quad Capture (and 3 other computer) first go in an analog mixer, so I can comfortable handle the volumen of the speakers with a fader. In such a mixer you can insert your intern SoundCard.

It's really strange, I never have this problem with the Quad Capture.

My advice:
- make sure you use another sound card for windows (integrated sound chip of your computer, hdmi sound, whatever)
- Adjust the driver first with the Roland tool
- Select Asio driver mode in Sonar
- Select Asio capture 1:2 in driver setting.

WASAPI dosen't seems to play well with my Quad either. When I have issues with my quad not working, I rename the AUD.INI file and it fixes it. I don't think the same as your scenario, but maybe worth a go.
