This is much better. Sounding a lot more like a song now. Bottom end is greatly improved; bass and drums are earning their pay much more :) Like the way the solo really leaps out now, too. Overall, it's just a lot more exciting and dynamic.

Still a bit of a high end fizz in the rhythm guitars to my ears, though that's something of a question of taste. I'd also bring the vocal out front a bit more, but that's even more subjective.

Impressive.

Sounding good, Kyle. That little bit of bass boost made a big difference.

I agree with John: I would like to hear the vox a little clearer. Rather than raising the vocals, though, I'd take a db or two off the guitars. To prevent losing the guitars' power, use automation to back them off during the vocals and bring them back up in between vocal phrases. A 1 or 2db nudge is all it takes.


All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
