I concur with the summation of aforementioned auditions.  It was pleasant and sounded super on my cans.

Really great tune done with style and class. I love a well-crafted pop tune and this certainly is that.

Thanks so much Kevin. Very kind of you.

Daryl,

Great tune and production.   @ 1:58 I thought I was listening to an ELO/Jeff Lynne production:) Very well executed all around.

Good luck in the UK and safe travels.

Regards

Thanks so much Mark - I really appreciate it.

Hey daryl... what a fun tune!  Somewhat Beatlesque!  I totally agree with what bitflipper said.  Sounded great on my new Yamaha HS8s.

Keep it up!  Moving sucks.  LOL

I listened in my headphones, and I first thought that the bass was to strong. But everything is crystal clear and the bass isn't taking anything else down, so... I like it.
It's sounds fantastic altogether and for me its a fun and quirky arrangement, though its mixed feeling for you to move.
Great job, Daryl!

Thanks mate.

Daryl,

I've listened to most of your work over the years and I have to say, I really dig your style.  This was excellently written and performed, as most everything else that I have listened to.  As mentioned by some one else, I love the vocal harmonies, they are very well done.

Your songs have a modern, Sgt. Pepper-ish, feel to them....and I mean that in a good way.  I love how you do that classic English thing and can make a not so good situation sound absolutely cheerful.

Loved the song Brother.  No real nits from me.

thanks so much Mike - you made my day mate :)

I needed cheering up after flooding my kitchen. Your song did it perfectly. More zest than a sack of oranges, more oomph than a tuba, more bubble than an Aero! Love it! I wish you bon voyage back to blighty!

LOL - thanks so much

Rochester has it's moments but I'm looking forward to some Fish and Chips

We just got back from 2 weeks in Australia.  Fish & chips on every corner.  We probably had fish & chips at least 5 times while we were there.  Just can't get it here in the states.

Mmmmm fish and chips. I'm so jealous.

I'll just ditto all the comments I've made on your previous songs, 'cause there just isn't much to add to all the positives.    Though I did like the modulation in this one.

Good luck with the move!

Pleasant.  I like some of the sound you use on this, scattered about the song.  It reminds me a bit of 60s British pop songs that had some humor in them.  Very friendly.  Well produced.

Hi, Daryl,

Late to the party here, but, this is a truly fantastic, very creative pop song with a radio-ready, crystal clear, pro sounding mix!

The lyrics and vocals are outstanding, and everything sits perfectly in the well balanced mix.

Sorry to hear that you have to head back across the pond, brother, we can use all the good guys that we can get here in the states.  Hopefully, you'll stay in touch here on the forum so we can still enjoy great music from you and the Mrs.!

Excellent work, Daryl, great stuff!

Bob
