Novation MIDI Controllers...Anyone?

I just bought the 25SL from Guitar Center and am curious if anyone else is using this? I totally stink at MIDI so I have no idea what I'm doing anyway......hell, I can't even figure out how to play the piano in a track...but this thing sure looks cool. I figured I'd give a week or two and if I can't get the hang of it, I'll return it. #1 1 Reply Related Threads

March 12, 07 9:31 AM (permalink) um, piano with 25 keys...... could limit your repertoire... that's like a three-string guitar... If you are a guitarist, learning keyboards, you might be better off with a bigger board (5 octaves is a good compromise) but two is a toy piano unless all you want to do is hiphop bass lines & stuff.... in my opinion, of course. #2

um, piano with 25 keys...... could limit your repertoire... that's like a three-string guitar... If you are a guitarist, learning keyboards, you might be better off with a bigger board (5 octaves is a good compromise) but two is a toy piano unless all you want to do is hiphop bass lines & stuff.... in my opinion, of course.
