Mike when you make an assertion it needs to be backed up by facts. If the data is a sample of a population than it would be nice to know what population. If its all users in the world that would be nice to know too. How about North Korea is that included? When anyone posts a graph with data on it shouldn't it have a link or at least how, where and when the data was gathered. I have a real problem accepting that anyone can know exactly what browser is being used at any one moment including the NSA. A yes or no is not enough to make that graph any more true.

Hi John, You asked a lame, poorly worded, yes or no question... You didn't like the answer... .. and now You are gonna lecture me? Wait!!!! That wasn't a question. Let's just be in different universes.

Hi John, You asked a lame, poorly worded, yes or no question... You didn't like the answer... .. and now You are gonna lecture me? Wait!!!! That wasn't a question. Let's just be in different universes. That question was meant to point out a basic flaw in posting a graph with no context about it. Not even a link to where it was gotten from or an acknowledgement of who made it. In other words it is meaningless as presented. You retorted with an seemingly intellectual response that was both incorrect and dismissive. Instead of just realizing the flaw and providing the absent documentation you go on and on in typical Mike fashion never understanding the issue. I know you don't like it when a point you try to make is questioned but it happens and you should either ignore the question or answer it. Trying to make another person seem as if it was an invalid question when in fact it was wont work.

John A yes or no is not enough to make that graph any more true. Thank you. This is the exact same reasoning I was using when I deemed your effusion of words a non sequitur. I am glad you gave it time to sink in.

SteveStrummerUK Just out of interest, is there anyone here who can change their avatar at the moment? I can't in IE, Firefox or Chrome. I spent an hour or two yesterday trying to give myself an avatar, using both FF and IE. Others have reported the same problem (and a bunch of other problems !). So, you're not alone...

The other day I was having trouble sending a PM too. It could be due to anything. I wonder if maybe CW is doing something to the forum software. Could it be they are upgrading?

John Not even a link to where it was gotten from or an acknowledgement of who made it. Hi John, Will you consider apologizing for lying about this? The graph has a clearly posted attribution of it's source: Statcounter I can endure your pedantic lecture but I take exception to your dishonesty.

It has been national news that the AWS servers were under aggressive attack the past week. I'm not making that up... but you are gonna have to believe me... or not. :-)

It's easy enough to collect data about how many people are using what browser. Your browser is identified by every site you visit.

Per Cakewalk's own support, they did mention that they are aware of the need to upgrade and still plan to do so, but they also mentioned that this particular forum was customized a bit outside the respective frame-work of APPlayground, and thus needs a bit more work to upgrade it. Until then, you may just do what I did and download Opera browser and just get by. It's not a great workaround, but man, it makes posts much easier to illustrate or provide procedural recommendations and such to other users.

Bristol_Jonesey Steve - I pm'ed you twice this morning and both times I've had an "Internal server 500 error", so I don't know if they got through or not. The last 3 private message I had in my inbox were actually ones that I sent to you so it's a complete mess and I have no sent messages. The last one that I ave that's actually from you is about you getting a ping on your phone/email saying you had a message from that was (surprise surprise) actually from you I'm assuming that was the last one you sent. He also said he'd give me a Chinese burn and steal my tuck rations if I didn't use this video of you on the bus yesterday to bump this thread: FBB... (Fat Bellied Boy)

Glad you used "Boy" rather than the usual word beginning with "B" that is frequently used to describe me, especially by my ex-wife.
