Glad you used "Boy" rather than the usual word beginning with "B" that is frequently used to describe me, especially by my ex-wife.

I didn't realise you were blonde.

So when are the forums going to be upgraded?
Or is it just the marketeers who run Cakewalk and the developers can't do a darn thing about it until they wake up.

I'm wondering if like someone stated in an earlier post, maybe (hopefully) the reason the forum has been acting screwy is because they are updating it.

Here's hoping.

I'm hoping to receive some email notice or a post from the Admins regarding the upgrade prior to it commencing. That would be a great idea. I don't think they are actively upgrading it right now.

Be nice if forum supported mobile devices a little better. Works ok now. But I've seen some forums that format better for mobile devices so font is bigger and things a little easier to work with. But I don't have any major issues currently. Probably one of those things that if they change it some people will complain they liked the old one.

Mobile devices? It'd be nice of the forum software even worked properly on PCs.

Use the "report abuse" link and get a server error.
Send a private message, get a server error.

Functions missing in the comments editor if used with IE. Different functions missing if used with Firefox. Works OK with Chrome, but who wants to install a browser just for the sake of one forum?

Now I cannot even change my avatar. 500 error... I get an error message when I try to PM, though the PMs seem to go through.... why is this so hard to fix here. OTher forums I use NEVER seem to have these sort of problems and if they do... THEY FIX THEM, I don't get it...does Cake/Roland not care??? I am beginning to wonder.

Course it would look nice, there's no screen on an IPOD ;) (Yeah I know you meant IPAD).

No I meant ipod. That's usually how I check out what's going on in the forums. It actually works ok on current forum. But in general I think it could be formated for mobile devices. The link you posted looked better. But there's no content so hard to say. But this forum works ok with ipod/ipad. Just could be formated for mobile would be nice.

I stand corrected! I had no idea IPODs had screens where you could browse the internet. Getting old...

Retina display on ipod looks great. But ya its small. And my eyes arn't the greatest. But convenient is all. That's why it would be great if forum software formated for mobile devices. Cakewalks does not. So you get the same view as you do on a computer.

Quite honestly I think that's a horrible layout. If that's a glimpse of the future, not sure I can be bothered to be part of it.

The layout itself can be customised by cake in a number of ways. It could be made to look similar to this forum if they wanted..... It may end up inheriting the characteristics of this forum after upgrade. Undeniably though the latest version just works, and works in a lot more browsers.

Sure... as long as it's not the type of customization that resulted in the inability to update the current version.   Just sayin'.
