Gentlemen I think it's time we change the subject to much more mundane things like. How many are using aftermarket pick-ups and what if anything do you like or not like about them.

Talking of dogs, I had to take my St Bernard to the vets last week.

"What seems to be the problem with your pooch Mr Strummy" asked the kindly old fellow.

I replied "It's his revolting halitosis - his breath smells like one of satan's own farts"

He picked up my dog and held him at nose level and took a few sniffs.

"Wow!" he exclaimed, "That is truly revolting, I've never smelt anything quite so disgusting"

"What are you going to do?" I enquired.

"Well, I'm going to have to put him down"

Shocked, I said "What ever for?"

"Because he's bloody heavy"

Well me too! But with forced induction you still need a better intake manifold and better headers, among other things to get the full benefit from the forced induction.

Too bad most of his thread is useless banter between Dorc_Hollingswirth and SteveStrummerUK, that only serves the purpose of boosting their post counts.

Doc, that's nice - maybe a little over the top, but nice all the same.

Hey, I just had a thought - it might be construed as though we're using this thread as a vehicle for upping our personal post counts!!

Well now, I can understand that view to a point.

Still, anybody thick enough to go out of their way to post a reply just to point that out might also be construed as some ignorant, unintelligent, boring, boorish, sub-human, predictable, troll-like lump of plankton 5h1te that was actually only doing so to increase his own post count.

However, anybody dim-witted enough to think they might gain a few 'brownie' points by doing so might also fall foul of the dreaded 'Percentage-Exclusive-Tally-Evaluation'.

What this means, in essence, is that each post a member makes should really be judged positively on how helpful, relevant, friendly and humorous it is, with or without ****ed images. Conversely, posts may also be judged negatively on how unhelpful, irrelevant, hostile and irrelevant they are perceived.

Now, in my humble opinion, every post that consists of any of the second category characteristics and none of the first should be given a nominal 0% rating.

Interestingly, if every post a member contributes constitutes a 0% P.E.T.E. rating, then this percentage will, by definition, always remain at 0%!

Logic, as Mr Spock keenly observed, is a wonderful thingy.

Therefore I have to say that this thread, by any definition, cannot constitute any form of artificial post-count subterfuge, unless your percentage remains at 0%.

Bob,

I am really concerned here. Making elicit comments about Mac users who are not here to defend themselves. Just because their platform is now essentially a PC.

Changing the subject. Strummy, due to the high rate of inflation we are experiencing and the devaluation of the American Dollar. I will now be accepting payment in sterling.
