Hey, I just followed a couple threads back in to the SONAR forum and WOW! Those guys are so full of themselves they can't even answer a simple question without calling the person that asked an idiot. It's interesting how they throw around electrical engineering degrees or computer programming expertise, none of which is provable here, and expect everyone else just to bow down in the awe of it all. Now I know why I don't upgrade!

Some of the regular GT forum members [who will remain nameless to protect me, Doc and Grant] have actually posted in the SONAR forum under cover of darkness and dared to point out just how pompous and 'superior' [i.e. bloody annoying and irritating] a lot of them are.

On a serious note though, the almost complete absence of threads like the one's you've highlighted in here is, in my opinion, one of the main reasons this place should be left to go its merry way... if it ain't broke...

Another thing you notice about some of the SONARites [they like being called that I think] is just how few of them have got any of their own music available for others to listen to - especially strange is how many long-time members and some with massive post counts have nothing on offer for our consumption, or even links to where we might be able to buy it!

One can only assume that these folk are all pros so they're not giving stuff away or that they spend so much time belittling others they haven't got any time to actually record anything.

Or it's crap.

Anyway, I've found a thread where I went in and stood up for GT using a particular example about how one of their regulars [the other CJ as it happens!] popped in here and rode rough-shod over a complete newb [his 1st post] and who, sadly, has never been seen since.

I find it rather unprofessional for someone who claimes to have the best interest of his patient's best interest at heart to reccommmend a mixing of alcholhol and fire. I'm glad you’re back with us. It seems your neighborhood may take a few days to recover though. You seem to have missed that part in Doc's prescription about finding a place where other things won't catch fire.

I will not be responsible for Strummy's misuse of the prescription. But I have to ask do you feel better now?
