OT-Gizmo for BGV

A lot of my music needs background vocals, at least I try to do that, but I can't get a choir or trio of back-up babes in my studio.
Just searching Guitar Center yesterday and found the Roland VP-550. An amazing device. It's been around since '06 but I've never heard of it. Kinda like a vocoder, but can make more-realistic voices, as well as the standard robot sounds.
You connect a mic and sing while you play the notes you want the chorus to sing and it reproduces the words in whatever voice you select. Some of the accompaying videos are pretty cool.
If I had 1,500 extra bucks......

Roland VP-550

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
Everything is better with pie.

I'd be happy with a bigger monitor!

Well, at least until I get a bigger monitor! LOL

Oh yeah, and new speakers. But I think that's all for now...

I'd be happy with just about any upgrade at this point.

LOL - I was just talking with my Brother and he told me he has a set of Genelec Monitors ... I hadn't heard of them. He got them when he was upgrading the studio for the Oxygen channel.

I went to look them up... Man, I can't imagine what they sound like.
