**Remix 1, I modified the vox delay to a slapback which fits the song better. And pushed the vox just a bit, and the lead, and added some other subtle changes.

I started playing this song in high school, and it's one of my all time favorite CCR songs.  I haven't heard the original in a while, but it seems that you stayed pretty close to the original recording.  That said, I would like to hear the lead vocal a tad louder, but I can live with this.

All the best,
Lynn

I did an image search on "Green Bikini" and there she was! Seemed perfect, and nothing you won't see on the cover of Cosmo standing in line at the Publix? Some men like their women in Berkas, and some like them in Bikini's (I fall in to the later camp.)

We used to play this and medley into Born on a Bayou. Good fun!

Yeah heh, I know a lot of you (probably 95+%) played in bands and probably covered this at one point :-)

One of the marks of a true classic. These guys were dinosaurs of rock! It was difficult to pick one of their hits actually? It could have been worse :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RD1KqbDdmuE

We did "Who'll stop the rain" when I played in a band back in the day. A pretty good version of it too? I recall "I know you rider" and ahh Oh yeah, "Hoochie Coochie man." Can't remember any others, lots of Grateful Dead.

I just remembered. We die Green River into Last Time (Rolling Stones) but we made it heavy. We had another tune, original, Houseboat Boogie that was a medley into Born on the Bayou.

Solid cover! Enjoyed it!

Rimmy, yes there is a taste of delay on the vox :-) Not a slapback? Actually I probably should have used a slapback to more closely mirror the original. There's a delay there? I may do a remix a try to get more of a slapback delay on the vocals. I listened "very carefully" to the guitars on the original, and attempted to emulate as closely as possible.
