Opening .SNG files with Sonar LE or Converting SNG to MID files

I have a bunch of songs that I created with a Korg X3.  I saved them in .SNG format.  I no longer have the Korg X3.  Is there anyway to open .SNG files with Sonar LE or does anyone know how to convert .SNG to MID files?

    http://www.gnmidi.com/

MIGHT convert them, try it anyway. The tool you need is "sng2mid" and it's a dos tool.

Thanks.  I tried it, but I think it only changes the file extension.  When I open the converted file with cakewalk there is no data.  I know that there has to be a solution.  I can't be the only one with this problem.

I also had an X3 and would like to convert the .sng files to Standard Midi Files.mid. The sng2mid program above ( it has been around for a while and was developed by some guy to convert Korg I-3 sequences) would not work in Windows Me XP or Vista. I once borrowed an N365 and was able to load a bunch of sequence files and sav them to SMF (.mid). That keyboard is gone. I happen to have a borrowed X2 right now but the disk drive is shot. I also have not been able to find any editor/librarian program that would allow me to load these .sng files to the X2 so they can be saved as .mid (SMF) and returned to my computer ether. If we could find an X or N series keyboard or module with a working disk drive that could be borrowed for a few hours then the problem would be solved. Note: Sequences loaded into a N365/265 would have the wrong patches since X3 Banks A-B are Banks C-D on an N series but would still save to SMF. If you know which track is what then whatever keyboard or DAW you play it with, you can assign the correct sound accordingly.

No one came from miles around and said "Man, your music is really hot"
