Starise This is a conundrum for me...I like the idea of having all of those mastering tools in advanced, but I can also chain some great multiband compressors, exciters, eqs etc....and get the same effect. I have metering plugs....so what's the advantage? The only one I can think of is visual mastering tools and I'm not sure this is a great advantage. I have two of their programs including Ozone 6.
Try the demo of O6A which includes Insight....nothing to lose... and see if it's something you feel is worthwhile...

I could do that but then I will probably end up buying it even though I probably don't need it. CClarry are you working on commission ?:):):) I knew I shouldn't have come by here.

I had to open it in a host and Authorize it...
Then and only then would it open as Ozone 6 Advanced. Until I did that it kept coming up as Ozone 6

Thanks Larry, I will try that. DID you authorize via ILok or Challenge and Response?

Larry that did the trick plus Izotope responded back with trying both methods, the store license locally worked

scook So just looking at https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-music-production-bundle-loyalty-upgrade it now reads
The Loyalty Upgrade is for anyone who owns one of the following: Alloy, Ozone Advanced, Nectar, RX, or Trash
This explains why I got the deal from iZotope only owning Trash (and Nectar Elements).
I just reread the Jrrshop loyalty upgrade. I do not see that it still says that one gets the free upgrade to Ozone 7 Advanced. Can anyone confirm that this deals still includes the free upgrade to Ozone 7 Advanced?

The Izotope Site states that if you buy the Bundle you get the upgrade to Ozone 7 for FREE... From the site Ozone 7 is coming! We are putting the finishing touches on Ozone 7 Advanced. Purchase the Music Production Bundle today and when Ozone 7 Advanced is released in November we'll send you a free upgrade.

Ok...THIS is directly from the PRICING on the Music Production Bundle for the Loyalty Upgrade Own any two of the following products: Ozone 6 Standard or Advanced, Alloy 2, Trash 2, Nectar 2, or RX 4 Standard or Advanced. and that is what get's you the bundle for $249....can be seen here https://www.izotope.com/e...uction-bundle/pricing/ This page also states that if you buy Ozone 6 or Ozone 6 Advanced after Aug 26th, you will receive the upgrade to Ozone 7 or 7 Advanced for free... Since, technically, buying the Bundle is "buying Ozone 6 Advanced" that will entitle you to the FREE upgrade...

Thanks Larry. The Jrrshop Loyalty Upgrade Bundle does say that you have to own Ozone Advanced (not standard): The Loyalty Upgrade is for anyone who owns one of the following: Alloy, Ozone Advanced, Nectar, RX, or Trash I don't own Advanced, so I think I have to go with the version that upgrades from just Ozone standard (which is $350 -- which Jrrshop sells for $297.50).

Ah..yes...there are TWO $249 upgrades... One is from Ozone 6 Advanced and one is for those who own any TWO of the other products, i.e..Ozone, Alloy, Nectar, Trash.... So it has to be one or the other to get the $249 price...

Larry, its just 1 product now... so by having 'only' Ozone 5 standard I don't qualify, but by also having Nectar 2 production suite, then I do ! Garry

They must have changed their policy and not the website then... Because the Website says the Loyalty Bundle @ $249 is only for those upgrading from Ozone Advanced, or for those who own TWO products...as is clearly outlined on their site here https://www.izotope.com/en/products/bundles/music-production-bundle/pricing/
so if that's true then they have not updated their site yet... MUSIC PRODUCTION BUNDLE PRICING PROMOTIONAL PRICE REGULAR PRICE Music Production Bundle $549 USD $599 US DUpgrade from Ozone 5-6 Advanced to Music Production Bundle* $249 USD $299 US DUpgrade from Ozone 1-6 Standard to Music Production Bundle* $350 USD Own any two of the following products: Ozone 6 Standard or Advanced, Alloy 2, Trash 2, Nectar 2, or RX 4 Standard or Advanced. $249 USD $299 USD

No fee with iZotope, Larry, they "undo" your iLok registration at no cost, so you don't have to pay the iLokman.

Rick, your upgrade was from 5 Advanced, so that's all you need...see my post above... therefore You CAN sell Alloy legitimately...

Thanks Larry! I guess I need to go take a look over at the other forum we can sell our stuff at. If there aren't too many Alloy 2's up I may just go ahead and try to recoup some of my cost. I should be able to get $50 for it?
