I get errors (with Excel 2010) :

1. ExcelClass_Initialize :  "Type mismatch"
2. VST Inventory :  "Unable to establish communication with Microsoft Excel"

Is there a newer version than 107 ?

I wrote a plugin inventory program that reads the registry, gets version and vendor information from the DLLs and places the results in an Excel spreadsheet, but it only runs on XP. I'll have to dig that project up and see why it didn't work on 64-bit OSs, now that I'm running a 64-bit O/S. Maybe it'll run as-is in compatibility mode, I'll check.

This works on my 64bit system.  Thanks a LOT for creating this little app.

Sorry, I lost my source code when my computer was stolen. There won't be an update until that proverbial rainy day comes and I get up the gumption to rewrite it from scratch. That won't be easy, as I no longer have any older SONAR versions to test it against (there was a lot of rev-dependent code in there, e.g. if sonar == 8.5 do this, if X1 do that).

The error suggests that it could not instantiate Excel, but no clue as to why. You could use the CSV option and export the list to a comma-delimited text file that can be subsequently imported into Excel if you like.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
