which didn't sound more than ok until I treated my room with real traps - 4 corner bass traps and first reflections behind, beside and above the monitoring station. Now they sound very detailed and balanced...still getting used to it though

M-Audio DSM3.
I wanted active monitors with digital inputs. The frequency range is very wide, and the sound very neutral and transparent.
