Calaboration with a friend who does hip hop music... The original version was a song I wrote called "Hear The Wind Cry"... He kept bugging me to use the song and do a rhyme over the original music and wanted me to do the guitar part that I wrote on the video... He thought it would be cool to have the young(him) and the old(me) working together on it... I told him I thought it was more like the good, the bad and the ugly... Anyway, this new version is called "Crisis"... All the music was done in Sonar and I tried to get a little bit of Cake in the video so right near the beginning at about 00:13 there's a quick little passage with the Sonar tracks loaded up on the computer screen in the background(Don't blink or you'll miss it)... Anyway, it was alot of fun and I hope anybody who likes this type of music will enjoy it... Take care http://www.youtube.com/v/P3Sf2q18CPQ

This is a B&W video that our band Dunes recorded in Hollywood back in 1982, unfortunately it was on an old betamax tape and over the years it has faded terribly but still isnt too bad for 25 years old, there are some missing parts and glitches from broken tape, i just uploaded it to Youtube. Im the Bassist in the video. She Looks So Good To Me "Dunes" 1982

great idea and thx to Cakewalk marketing team for this thread .. here is my first video. it contains a song I produced / arranged and composed completely in SONAR , as well as footage from one of our shows , backstage , on stage , red carpet etc. spliced in with historical footage and dramatized scenes that follow the lyrical content. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUzkNpkXwp4

This first video is titled "HIT ME", it’s about trying to hit that perfect tone (must be an Eddie thing, LOL) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5tNjuMdV-E The second video is me putting the lead guitar into my song "Nothing Day". The background story is that I show-off gear (review kind of), and I had a Joe Satriani Chrome Boy in my hands and didn't play it on the video, Rick (a forum member)complained, sooooo I was able to get its owners other Ibanez, the Black Joe Satriani LOL OK watch the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hz24pjDd9NI Of coarse this is not the finished version of the song but you can go here, and download a not to shabby mp3 or even just play a wma http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=836620&t=2172

O.K. this is as good as I can do with a plug for Sonar(Cakewalk) without actually getting any compensation... The plug is at the end of the video and by the way my wife officially thinks I'm NUTS!!!! Check it out, it's called Following A Madman (hey, maybe she's got something there) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opLDLLGCLZs The second song is the title cut from a cd I just finished(All Sonar, of course) called Holding On... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0NdWQvA-SA Hope you like :)

Hi everyone Here is a little demo I put together of using a program called Folder-Snap to organize samples. (the video isn't that exciting, but it shows you what the program can do) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ6JQm8z1tw It's done using some software called Folder-Snap, which I had a part in programming. There is more information and details on its many uses at www.helience.com I'd appreciate any feedback you have. Thanks Andy

Someone should make a video on how to "beat detective" a rock drum set with audiosnap. That would make me happy. Well here is one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meeisvlakE8&mode=related&search= But I wish there would be a tutorial with an actually hard drum track. Like metal with double kick and blast beats.

ORIGINAL: BigDaddyJoel Hi, Here are my YouTube entries. Be Gentle. As I was watching the first video I kept thinking, this guy needs a tri pod. But then the second one you had the camera on one. But, the second one was just the one shot the whole time. I think you could have found some more shots of that bridge equally as haunting as the one in this video, and faded between them.

Maybe, I don't remember the last time I heard Pink Floyd. I notice that you're using Vista. I recently changed from XP to Vista with a fancy new computer. I also upgraded from Home Studio 2004 to Sonar 6. I've been using sonar mostly for editing and that's worked out pretty good. But the other day I hooked up my m-audio radium keyboard to my new computer just to fill in parts for my arrangements that I've already recorded. Trouble is, I can't make it work. I can't seem to record much because of dropouts, remember, this is a brand new computer with lots of memory, 2 gigs of ram and a dual processor. Also, the recording interface is so confusing (compared with what I'm used to with HS 2004) that I feel like I'm starting all over again. Do you have any words of advice? BDJ

Because of the same problems you described (hardware incompatibilities and drop outs) I'm seriously considering going back to XP. I believe Microsoft allows you to use the key from their latest OS for an earlier one.
