Excellent. Sounds are still not playing after installing this update. What's going on Cakewalk? have you tested this thing or what. This is getting very tiresome and extremely frustrating! Get it right and fix this damn thing for christ's sake!!!!!!

Yes. I'll double check but I am 100% positive I'm running 2.00.01.509. The patches not playing are hit and miss from the Rapture Pro Library. I got so pissed off I didn't even bother to check any of the legacy patches. Also upon first loading Rapture Pro I had an immediate crash. Tried again Crash. Tried a 3rd time and it loaded. I don't have time for this crap. Cakewalk needs to get this resolved or they WILL give me my money back! Rap Pro is still broken and no it's not my system. Everything else runs perfectly not to mention I keep my audio PC well tuned. I only have problems like this with Cakewalk instruments. Back in the day I had similar issues with Dimension Pro and Rapture but they did eventually get it sorted. It's really ridiculous for Cakewalk to be releasing garbage like this. They'd better get it fixed and fixed soon!!!!! They took my money quick enough. Sorry for the rant. Thanks...

Yes I have confirmed that I am running 2.00.01.509. Nothing is different than before the update. My notes are still sticking which makes this plugin useless for me. All my other plugins work flawlessly. I'm about to make a review of this to put on Youtube. Cakewalk please provide refund instructions!

This update hasn't fixed a damn thing from what I can see and it will probably be a month before we even see another update. I just want what I paid for to work the way it should. Updates I do for my other DAWS, Plugins, VSTi's, etc... don't break anything why is it so with Cakewalk products? Omnisphere 2, even after the latest updates doesn't work right in Sonar yet it works perfectly in 2 other DAWS. EZdrummer has issues with routing in Sonar yet there are no problems with it when I use it elsewhere. What is Cakewalk doing or not doing? FIX RAPTURE PRO and STOP releasing 1/2 baked software CAKE!! Take your time and make sure your products work as advertised!! I want what I paid for!!

Can you give me the full name of at least one preset that does not work and where is is? I haven't fully tested it all yet but Rap Pro library seems to work for me. For me Maschine standalone was experiencing stuck notes issue in the old version, so far in testing I am unable to reproduce this again in the new version (so fingers crossed hopefully it is fixed). Maschine standalone does white out when running Rap Pro for the first time in (it comes back later). Whilst this is harmless it is very annoying. OK I spoke too soon..... just had a stuck note issue in Maschine.  Just happened once though, seems harder to reproduce. Still recommend a VST reset though, and please give us the name of at least one silent preset.

I'm not in the studio now but I will write down a few of the presets from each Rap Pro bank and post them later this evening. I haven't even checked the legacy libraries yet and I'm not sure I want to at this point or Cakewalk might become my worst enemy at this point and I don't want that. I'll also try the reset and rescan. I'll try almost anything at this point. I just want it to work. right now it's as if I took $79.00 and just tossed it out the window.

Well things get more interesting by the minute. Rapture now takes forever to load and crashes Sonar at least 2 times before it finally does load. Great fix Cakewalk. Glad you guys are on the ball and know what you're doing. Class act for sure... Well I have nothing better to do than to try and figure out what the bakers can not accomplish so I'll just see what happens next!

I can confirm these are all working for me just fine (standalone running 64 bit/44.1). Looks like you need to uninstall/reinstall the Rapture Pro Library.

I did the reset + rescan and so far Rap Pro is loading faster and not crashing Sonar. I don't want to speak to soon though. I probably just got lucky. However. The samples are still not playing. Some do, some don't. It's anyone's guess. I've come to discover that with Cakewalk I'll just have to live with what works and what doesn't and hope for the best. Cake seems a little handi-capped when it comes to fixing things from what I've seen over the years. Mostly through 3rd party experiences but some of my own as well. Something else always seems to get broken in the process. Thankfully at least Rapture Pro loads (so far anyway) without crashing Sonar. That too might change. It's not all bad though... I paid for software that works 1/2 of the time and nothing even close to what I saw advertised. I guess I should be grateful that at least Sonar itself has always been pretty good for me and I am thankful that at least Rapture and DP still work. Perhaps R-Pro will also be fixed at some point...

I had to double back and re-install all sound libraries back a bit (after the last update).
Right now, I can't find any libraries not working Except Galbanum Piscis (and I think this is because it fights for slots with the other libraries?) I'll try reinstalling it.
But all the sounds you mention (all the sounds in Sonar Rapt Pro) are working for me.
Also, I haven't had Rapture suddenly stop working since the last update (what I refer to as the Rapture Silent Treatment).
StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I would wait on messing with Piscis until CW annouces a fix. It is not due to LFO waveforms or missing EG and SG files. There is something else going on in some of the programs. The rest, on the other hand seem, to be working OK although I have not tested all 15000+ programs in my config. Probably never will.

Did you uninstall the libraries first or just reinstall them? I can't even find where they are to uninstall them and do I have to reinstall from CCC? All the other libraries are in control panel and can be uninstalled but the Rap Pro samples are not there. I have no idea why Cake makes some of their installs so difficult. Case in point as massive as the Omnisphere library is everything installs to where it is suppose to be unless I choose to install to a different path. Thanks...

Reinstalling it made it work. I don't know if it made other things not work.

No need to test them all, if the first 5 or so of the Spectrum Pads sound the same in Rapture and RPro, that would be enough for me to chance reinstalling Piscis.

Notes still sticking in FL Studio 12. Nothing appears to have changed with this update.
Do you have a quality control department? How long am I not going to be able to use what I paid for here?
Same here... The GUI does not crash in FL 12 when switching from element to browser anymore but any MIDI input is stuck. Even tried initialing the program and putting a simple, 1 element saw wave and still the midi notes got stuck indefinitely playing. Pretty much agree with paulevs on this one.. Quality control department please!

Confirmed with Maschine 2.3 and RN Noise Elements program from Dimension Pro factory Library  .

Did you uninstall the libraries first or just reinstall them?
Yes. I went through everything and uninstalled and re-installed. It sounds silly. Cakewalk Support
To completely remove Rapture Pro from your computer and reinstall it, follow the steps below:Run the Rapture Pro uninstaller. This is normally done from the Cakewalk Command Center. Open the Command Center, right-click on Rapture Pro and select Uninstall.If Command Center is not installed, Rapture Pro can be uninstalled from the Control Panel in Windows under Programs and Features. After the uninstall completes, open the Run Prompt by holding down the “Windows” key and pressing “R” on the keyboard.At the Prompt, type regedit and click [OK].Click [Yes] if asked to allow the program to make changes to your computer.**Important: When accessing the Registry Editor, create a backup by going to File | Export. In the Export Registry File window that appears, verify the “Export range” is set to “All” and “Save as type” is set to “Registration Files (*.reg)”. It is important to create a backup of the registry- there is no undo function if an incorrect value is deleted. Any changes made can be reversed by simply double-clicking the backup .reg file to import your previous settings. If this is required, re-import your backup prior to restarting your computer.
After backing up your Registry, delete the following registry key. Delete the last folder in the chain of these keys by right-clicking on it and selecting "delete".For 64-bit installations of Rapture Pro:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Rapture Pro

If you continue to run into issues after following the steps above, please let me know.
I manually uninstalled every component as well and re-installed. This made a big difference for me.
