Hi vladasyn, I'll send you a PM and see if we can get to the bottom of your issues. I'll likely need more info - but we can take it offline in the PM. Thanks! ~Bob Currie vladasyn Why dont you fix MIDI triggering wrong tracks and sending MIDI to All tracks when supposed to send to one, and Play button triggering last played MIDI notes? It is so frustrating to always wondering, "Why do I hear this Drum loop when I am on Synth instrument?" Or be startled when all tracks suddenly get triggered without warning by pressing a key. You just keep fixing minor things that never even happening. I get shut with uncontrollable amount of sound in my ears unexpectedly when I press a key on keyboard because all tracks get triggered instead of one, but you dont think it is something to worry about? What about Stop button being grayed out when using Kontakt instrument? Ok, it only happens with Sequence, but would you not want to know how they did it and help them fix it? Now that you collaborating with Big Fish Audio- Sequence is their product. What about fixing Copy/Paste function? For no reason, it just does not Paste. When are you planning to address it? Thank you.

After installation, of the loops just cut and paste from C:\Cakewalk Content\Audio Library\Big Fish Audio to another drive if you have one or folder. Or before downloading change the CCC and tell it where to install.

Trying out the country loops under play preview and they are playing perfectly. When loaded into a track they sound distorted and not very good. Other loops I have form BigFish are playing ok.

Some of the loops that came with this update sound pretty good actually . I enjoy playing along with them and stealing every lick I can nab from them Then I play them on my Axe the way I would play them for how I would use them with the notes I want to use ...good practice for playing in all different keys .. Also enjoy nabbing the tones . IMHO , it's a good practice to recreate some of the effects and tones they used on the loops inside of SONAR . Like to do that w some of my tracks that are still dry...sort of like how people use a reference mix ....except for production tones . Nothing is safe around here so I will nab those tones too Hey what the heck , people pay good money for those type of loops . I might as well get on the fast track to the gravy train Kenny

I too noticed some loops were "ring modulated" in sound in the preview. Not many but a couple. I just moved on and don't remember which ones, as at this point, I'm sure there are going to be 10 people using these loops to make a song...and they'll all sound alike! ....i.e. Like the country files had .wav A-D, denoting which instrument files go with which. ...in effect creating a whole verse, in a multi track kinda way... etc. Nothing musically you're really going to change drastically.

If you are using one of the full song wave files they might be detected as a loop. If that is the case it will possibly sound unusual when played back since all the data is being compressed into a small amount of time. Select the clip and turn off looping by pressing Ctrl+L to see if this is the case.

It is important for new customers to be able to find the loops so these are installed automatically into the Audio Library folder which is also accessible from the Browser. If you have modified this location it may no longer be inside Cakewalk Content. The normal install path looks like this: c:\Cakewalk Content\Big Fish Audio

You only need to install the 2017.10 update to have the new TH3 Amp. You may also need to rescan the plug-in for it to be updated as well. If you go to Edit | Preferences | VST Setting and click Scan. In TH3 Cakewalk Edition, you will now have the Overange and British State 2x12.

I scan on opening but scanned again anyway - no Amp and no Cab. I can see them lurking alongside all of the other unpurchased items but they are not available. I reiterate that everything is showing as up to date in my Command Centre so any other thoughts? Am I the only one here with this problem? Grum.

That's a Windows permissions problem. The installer was unable to rename a file before overwriting it with a new version. Try running CCC as Administrator. While that shouldn't be necessary (I don't do it), there is something unusual about your Windows perms that's getting in the way.

There will be no more issues that I know of, because I am no longer with Gibson. Although I listed a lot of people in the masthead, it was 90% a one-man show. Unless someone at Cakewalk takes it over, it's not going to happen. I apologize to all those trying to figure out how to make the most out of loops; tips on making music with loops was going to be the feature story in the next issue. However, at least after being fired I did provide the 30 FX Chains and the documentation for same...I thought the community would appreciate that. A lot of companies have approached me about consulting now that I'm part of the industry at large again. Although there won't be a Tech+Music magazine per se, I will continue to present material along those lines in many other venues.

The web page says there is, but it links to last month's (2017.09). Isssuuuu (or whatever it's called) reports no find on a direct search for 2017.10. So, it's classified, it seems.

I want to make perfectly clear that there is no truth whatsoever in the non-existent rumour that Mr. Anderton was summarily dismissed for inappropriately touching Mr. Juszkiewicz in a hotel room in Nashville on 1st April 1957. If any such touching did take place, I certainly don't remember it, and it is likely that this scurrilous allegation was nefariously promulgated by supporters of the discredited Epiphone government, who now face arrest under charges of rebellion and other badness, just as soon as I can find someone to sign this EuroArrest Warrant (TM). There is thought to be some truth in the rumour that Gibson touched the aforementioned Epiphone but there is no suggestion that this was not consensual. Although there is no Magic Money Tree and we live in a Mad World, I am pleased that Craig will carry on entertaining and helping us even without Gibson's beneficence. I am on my way to buy the cheapest Les Paul ever - cheap because Orville Gibson, Seth Lover and Lester Polfus were allowed nowhere near it - and along the way I hope to mature enough never again to give into temptation, not least the temptation to attempt weak satire.
