All new to Color Schemes, I am... :-)

Hi guys,

Could someone please tell me where to find the attribute to change the colour of the vertical grid lines that is on the clip-pane in Track view?

Help appreciated,

I've got a color scheme that's sort of a work in progress. I'd like to toss it up here for anyone who is interested. I've dubbed it "Cordial" because all the dark maroon and gold reminds me of those gold foil wrapped chocolates. Version 1.0 because it's still a work in progress. Here's what it looks like:

If you want to see it larger go here.

The .clr file is here. Rothchild, feel free to add it to your blossoming Sonar theme page.

Best

I sent my analog warmth scheme. I have other versions, but this one still has some borders around the buttons.

I just want to take the pretty color schemes from Version 6 and put them to the rearranged colors for version 7. So, I assume I can just export the color scheme out of version 6 and import it into version 7?

hi guys,

I'm testing out the templates on Rothchilds site. updated the colours and restarted for each. in some of the samples, the toolbar buttons don't have the dark default shadow default of sonar PE7. whats up with that and how do i change it. it was the first things that made me go "ugh!" about the interface. so i would love to change it if possible. lol...they stand out like Brazilian nipples!!!

the other thing (although not related to the colour schemes at all) is the pixelated edges around the track icons...i made some of my own designs (im a designer/audiophile)...but they still came out all pixelated. darn!

EDIT: rothchild, can you post full size version of the screengrabs if possible? (hard to see what the final looks like)

Hi Buddy

I tend to just post what I am sent, so some of the pics are just small but a lot of them if you click on the actual picture they will open in a new window and allow you to see more of the details.

Cheers

no probs, I thought it was something like that.

anyone know if i can change the shadows on top buttons in the main UI? like in this scheme?

EDIT: I see that was the default in sonar 6. would be nice to have that option (note to self send cakewalk a few feature requests...lol)

Actually I've made some changes (just small ones with MIDI notes). I'll upload it as soon as I can.

Thanks for the interest!

P.S. By the way, does anyone know how to change the color for the numbers found on the dB scale located between the FX Bin and the Track's Pane? For some reason I'm no able to find it, so I'll appreciate it...Thanks!

What is this "effect" I see where Sonar 7 can fade between Blue and Green color schemes? I've seen this on a couple of rigs but never knew how to use the feature?!?

I'm not sure I follow what you're saying. Is there a link with an example you could provide?

Very nice - should be included in the factory install.

You're in an amazing state.

So stay there.

ok gonna through up my "goobase" that i've been playing around with for the past while. I've taken some small liberties with colours so that they fit better with the sonar interface.

track view - full size

console view - full size

CLR file (right-click > save as)

( Rothchild please feel free to add it to your site )
