Well.... I REALLY think that the color files should be compatible between the different language versions... Isn't it possible to fix? Or would it be a a too great effort? Don't know much about such things....

Does anyone know, or can recognise, which colour scheme this is, or is it one that has been customised from scratch ? :

Thanks in advance pickheaven@cox.net That pic is just URL'd from the site I found it on (Sound on Sound) actually, so it's the only size there is unfortunately. While I'm on this thread - is there an easy (ie quick) way to copy some of the colours from one setting to another ? Basically, I've got one colour scheme I really like, except for all the clip settings, for which I would prefer Default2. Is there a way to copy over the clip section colours, into my other colour scheme ? Cheers Simon

Low light RULES in a studio. I change colors of tracks, in shades of importance. Vocals are red with harmonies and or seperate takes a close shade. SO when I bulk look at a session, I can see from accross the room how the vocals are grouped, the giutars (aseperate group of shdes) and so on. Otherwise I hold NO interest in paiting some kind of landscape that has nothing to do wih locating the sounds fast. When you do some 150+ tracks for many projects with video these days.............well, that's my take on looks. Have fun. I guess.

Here's one for the color scheme creators: In all of the themes that come with Sonar, the overlay for a Record Armed track is pink. I am using a custom color scheme that I downloaded from this list (DarkHouse, or something) and its overlay is grey. I know it must be some color selection in the list, as changing to any of the other presets makes this pink. I just can't find which color setting it is, and I'd like to know so I can make my record armed tracks obvious. Thanks for any assitance.

Blades, You change "Record Preview Clip Background" in "all colors" . It is default red (255, 0, 0) and appears as pink in clips pane unless you have changed it. MQ

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to DoubleTWord for the lead. Royale Noir is a god-send in low lighting! ORIGINAL: DoubleTWord I do hope this works. I'm using MediaFire to host the .clr file. Here's the link: Sonar7BrownSound Yes I'm using a Windows XP laptop, with an additional larger monitor. The awesome shiny black Windows Desktop theme is actually a Microsoft design that didn't make it to market called Royale Noir. Here's the link: Royale Noir Not only is this simple to load up, but has no weirdness at all. No need to change any registry settings or anything. It will give you a black desktop wallpaper, which I lighten a little to a dark gray. Hope all this works. DoubleTWord

I couldn't see anything in that picture but I know what you're talking about because I asked about this before. I don't think this is something any user can customize but it does look cool doesn't it. Maybe Cakewalk could share it and include this on the next patch, please??? That would be awesome! Take care man!

Hey all just a quick heads up that there is a new colour scheme available at http://sonartemplates.googlepages.com many thanks to Muzzstah for his 'Blue Muzz' scheme. And sorry for the chaos on that page, it seems to work ok with firefox but under IE everything is strewn everywhere and I'm not totally sure how to reign it all in! Cheers Child

Well spotted Stratcat, I've reinstated it now. Just a quick reminder that if anyone wants their colour scheme hosted at http://sonartemplates.googlepages.com then all they need to do is email me the .clr file and a screenshot of your masterpiece in action to popworksATgmailDOTcom and I'll make sure it gets posted. I could easily do a Pro Tools color scheme, but I would need several screen shots. One of PT's Track View, preferably with 10 audio tracks containing a clip, and ten MIDI tracks, containing a clip ... plus a screenie of the Console View. Screen shots of the TV showing the MIDI notes would be great too. Oh yeah, and a pic of the full Transport too.
