Hmmm, Jan 13th, 7-8pm, Bar Louie. Sounds like a long drive and a real mess at the end. I'll see what I can do. How long a drive are we talking about? Omaha? Boston? Oberammergau? It would be great if you could make it, Craig. But I wouldn't want you to endure a grueling road trip with no more reward at the end of the journey than listening to a bunch of smart-mouthed geezers **** about X1. But then of course, there is a chance Julianna will be there, too. Let's think positive.

Being a smart mouthed old geezer myself, I'd feel right at home. You guys are the pros, I might learn something. Been to the place where NAMM is a few times for Jet Ski events. That area is the mess. Oberammergau? Is that near Pasadena?

bitflipper Oberammergau? Wow, that's a name I haven't seen in years. Pretty town, but I imagine the drive to Pasadena might be somewhat challenging. Hope you all have a good time out there.

Crg Old55 For the curious: http://www.barlouieamerica.com/home/ Looks nice. Do they have seared tuna? Nevermind, just my sense of humor flairing up. Better take some aspirin for that.

On the other hand, she thinks she oughta point out that she's pushing forty and has two small children that are giving her more wrinkles than she knows what to do with. Let's not tempt Craig out of Sin City under false pretenses, eh? :D

...pushing forty Oh you poor dear! Forty! I can't imagine what that must be like...no, actually, I can't remember what that was like. Well, just keep on pushing, and maybe it'll move back. Anyhow, you can play up the soccer mom image all you want, but keep in mind that we've all heard you sing, you sultry vixen!

Jan 13th!? Rats, a week from today! I'll check my Aadvantage miles to see about flying there ... I may have to take a rain check ... but my dreams are with you all regardless. Last night I dreamt of a handful of 'us funky super-heroes' (like Mystery Men) ... banding together to fight against hundreds ... for (musical?) freedom and righteousness. I wonder if the Nerd Summit and/or my meds precipitated my premonitions thus ...

Oh, Bit, I never said Soccer Mom... Let's just remember who's been putting bumper stickers on mini vans, hmmmm? KIDDING! I'm KIDDING! On the soccer mom------vixen scale, I'm definately closer to vixen. Just not the kind they have in Vegas. More like an early David Lynch film. HAHAHAHA!

I looked into getting tickets but it's trade only. No public. That's a shame, because I wanted to be there and see if there was any buzz going around about this: http://www.omencity.com/

Anyhow, you can play up the soccer mom image all you want, but keep in mind that we've all heard you sing, you sultry vixen! Oh, to be forty again. I'd have to wear a little name tag with my avatar on it for anyone to recognize me. The term "older than dirt" comes to mind.

I plan to extend an invitation to them, but I don't expect any of them to join us. For one thing, they may have business-related things planned, as NAMM isn't just an 8-hour workday for most exhibitors who are courting dealers and establishing visibility. Noel is usually a ghost at NAMM, hiding in back rooms doing who knows what but rarely mingling. Every year I try to say hi and every year everyone says "I don't know where Noel is, he was just here a minute ago". And even if they don't have other duties, who would want to subject themselves to a cross-examination in this current peasant revolt climate?

bitflipper who would want to subject themselves to a cross-examination in this current peasant revolt climate? It could be worse. They could have to listen to Bapu's prattle ramble missive about the merits, or more corectly lack therof, of post count .

I think Noel is just practicing some common sense. Imagine what could happen if he were to become infected with NagBap LE? "Is X2 ready now?" "No" "Now?" "No!" "Now?" "AAAAGGGHHHH!" "Well, is it?"

Yeah Bubba. The LE version is so forgiving ain't it? I fear CW would simply shut down if they were infected with NagBapX1a(b coming soon to a server near you, honestly!).
