The VST3 version of Equilibrium is working correctly here now. VST3 Equilibrium comes up as a stereo plugin on a stereo track - and when I change the track interleave to mono, it comes up as a mono plugin. I didn't see any reference to this (of course that doesn't mean they're not there) in the list of fixes - so check any other VST3 plugins that were broken...

charlyg And as for the post above, I thought you are supposed to change the buffer size on playback of bigger more complicated projects. I know it needs to be at least 1024 for Melodyne to work... Or, in my noobness, maybe I am misunderstanding....
I know Melodyne complains about it when you fire it up, but you just ignore that. I rarely if ever change from 128 and have no issues in both Studio One (and Reaper ?? hmmm , memory), and I can't recall having any issues with Platinum when I had it installed either.
It ACTUALLY solved a click and drop out issue. Again, saying "just ignore that" in SONAR is not the kind of info to spread on this site. IMHO

I think it's safe to say that most of us have ignored that message since we've had Melodyne running in SONAR. I think that's exactly the kind of advice we want on this forum - but I'm glad that changing the buffer size fixes a problem for you. *That* is also the kind of info we want here (IMHO)

Just ignore it, there is no issue, if you run into an issue then you can adjust, but I haven't had to. It's a bit like a notice on the back of a valve amp telling you there are no user serviceable parts inside, contact an authorized dealer, when all you want to do is change the valves . . . Yeah right lol

Hi. I upgraded to Sonar Plat. just before I went out of circulation about 10 months ago. Apparently I expire or something, in Feb 2016 (hope my friends miss me.) I'm trying to get back on track and just downloaded it today using command centre which tells me I'm on the Lexington update 11. If I missed all the previous updates does that mean I've missed all the previous new features introduced with each previous update? If I have is there somewhere I can get them?

Uncheck Recycle Plug-In Windows.
You can also override the recycle feature on a temporary basis - if you need to have a few open for whatever reason but don't want to change the behaviour overall - by pressing Control while clicking to open the FX editor. It seems that it will remember combinations - you can ctl-click to open a few windows and those windows will persist, and then any new ones you open without ctl-clicking will use the normal behaviour. And you can add to the persistent windows on the fly. Once you've closed all of the windows from a given set you've ctl-opened, they revert to recycling. It's pretty handy! I don't know if it's in the manual anywhere, since I rarely read those, I just discovered it by accident.

Any of you guys having issues with the new Lexington update? I updated last week and immediately encountered dropouts, 'Sonar has stopped working' error messages and white screen ghost outs on every session. I swapped out interfaces and still the problem exists. Kingston ran superbly on Windows 10. Phone support tried for some time to help before requesting a minidump file. Tried going back to X3 to finish projects, but the files won't render due to them being created in later version. Platinum is kaput. Anyone having problems or suggestions?

You're not the only one and I wonder how one can reconcile your experience and that of others with the official statement of "making SONAR even faster and more rock-solid that ever". It would be interesting to know more about what was done to Sonar for the Lexington update - why an improvement was expected and why the changes might do the exact opposite on certain systems. I'm holding back at Kingston for the moment.

Mark, you should roll back to Kingston until the Bakers can figure out what's causing the dropouts. No sense in stopping your workflow and it's relatively easy to roll back using the CC.

+1 on Paul's point - it would be nice to know what is so different between systems to account for the difference in performance. I'm running on Win7, and Lexington runs at least as well as prior versions, on older hardware (Q9300).

Here's a theory...the playback I/O buffer under Sync and Caching in preferences might get reset when you update to a new version.

Hey Tom and Craig. Thanks for the suggestions. Tom - it appears the 64bit Double Precision option option box was already unchecked, so off. Craig - as per the phone support we yanked up the I/O buffer size on both Sonar and my Motu to 1024. Problem persists.
