SONAR Mods' Vintage Plug-in Department is playing with TTS-1 GUI. File properties shows that it was last time updated in 2004. No updates in 11 years... until now. :) Work in progress but here's a preview: It started to sound better immediately.

panup Mudgel,
I can finally replicate the drag & drop issue you have had in Duckbar's ModPatcher2015 after reinstalling Windows. However, I haven't found a fix yet...
Haha. So I wasn't imagining things. The current system works fine. I'm using Windows 10 now, and it's the same. The drag and drop still doesn't work.
Reason for the disabled drag & drop is explained here:
---clip--- The problem is tied to how security permissions work. The ability to drag and drop from a normal applications to an elevated one would break the security model behind UAC. However, I'm unclear as to why a UAC prompt isn't shown, thus allowing for a temporary elevated operation (much like any linux user experiences every day). This is definitely something that Microsoft needs to work on. What troubles me is that this problem is already old. Vista behaved the same. There's 2 things you can do (one ugly, one annoying) Ugly: Disable UAC. But you lose all the extra security it offers.Annoying: Use another File manager and run it too as an AdministratorWhy another file manager? Because you can't actually elevate Windows Explorer. Despite seeing the option in the context menu of the Windows Explorer icon and a UAC prompt being displayed, the fact is Windows Explorer will not be elevated.
Source: http://superuser.com/questions/59051/drag-and-drop-file-into-application-under-run-as-administrator ---clip--- Drag & drop would work if Duckbar was executed with standard right, not as Administrator. Unfortunately Duckbar can't access 3rd party program's files and registry without admin rights. I improve other methods to make modding smoother.
I have UAC disabled (for years now) but will still get some security pop ups saying that I don't have permission to access a file or folder but then click OK and it goes ahead and does what I ask. My DAw is also a client to Windows Home Server 2011. I use it for automatic backup and downloads etc.

In my reinstalled Windows I also get the same pop ups even with UAC disabled. There must be some setting somewhere in Windows to get rid of those, too, because I don't get them in my all machines running Windows 7. I verified drag & drop issue by starting Adobe Photoshop as Administator: it was not possible to drop files from Explorer to Photoshop when Photoshop runs as Admin and Explorer not.

Upcoming Duckbar update introduces brand new Mod Explorer which is an easy interface to install mods. Now there's also a simple Reset button to undoo all mods without any hassle. Treeview has a context menu with Load mod from file etc. other useful commands. I'm already late from the promised release date but I'd like to test and finetune this properly...

I have Problem with the new Duckbar Version. I selected "Sonar X4 Build 32 64 Bit" for my Sonar Platinum x64. I have installed the Mod Dark Side 2015. When i go to Recent and klick on a Project of mine, Sonar Platinum 32 Bit starts. I have the Steam Version of Sonar Platinum. I cannot work on my Projects created with Sonar Platinum x64 with Duckbar because it starts the 32 Bit Version everytime. Can anyone help me out? Thank you! Edit: The Program Path of my x64 Version is: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cakewalk\x64\SONAR\Sonar.exe Maybe you have to correct some hardcoded File Paths in your Code?

I'll check this later tonight. Paths are not hardcoded but obviously there's something I haven't taken into consideration. Steam and Windows 10 are both difficult ones for me because I can't test them myself.

It worked with a workaround. I copied the TTSRES.dll 64 Bit File in the [<font]Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cakewalk\SONAR\ [<font]Folder. [<font]Then i installed the Mod. After that i copied the TTSRES.dll File Back into the 64 Bit Folder [<font][<font]Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cakewalk\x64\SONAR\ [<font][<font]and startet 64 Bit Sonar. [<font][<font]It worked. It would be cool when this would be fixed. Thanks ;)

How did you know to copy TTSRES.dll to that folder? Did you find it in Duckbar preferences?

Its the Installation Path of Steam. Steam is like DL Manager for Games and Programs. Normally all Games etc are downloaded in the Steam Folder.
