    Hey Glenn,

Excellent! I hope you enjoy it. Also, I compensated for most of the changes in the upcoming X1b update, but there were a few minor things that didn't make it into the book. So be sure to go the SONAR X1 Power book page at my site and click on the Errata link for the new info...

    Thanks!

    Hey Lane,

Thanks very much! Glad to hear you enjoy SONAR 8 Power so much... I hope you enjoy X1 Power as much or more.

And if you (and anyone else here) have the time, feel free to post a nice review over at Amazon after you've had time to read the book.

Amazon's tracker says mine's here in town but not scheduled for delivery until Friday.  Based on past experience, however; there's a good chance that it will arrive Thursday.

Either way, I'll have it for the weekend, yay!

So yeah...come on Cakewalk, get the lead out of your pants and release X1B already.

    Hey Johnny,

That's true! I think the publisher went with this new larger format to save on costs, but I actually like it. There are fewer pages, but with the same amount of material and this time we didn't have to have download chapters. The entire book is in print, which is nice.

    Thanks!

    Hey James,

Ha! You'll be ripped in no time.

What I also like about the bigger format is that it's easier to read. And when you lay it flat it stays open to the page much better than previous editions.

    Thanks!

If it doesn't ship by Friday I'll go order it at Amazon.com and cancel the .ca order.

I had to help the UPS driver carry it in....they have a 50lb limit. ha

It may be the only recording book Ive ever read cover to cover. Im retired so I now have the time to really learn how to record. Surely within "all those pages", lies the road to a gold or platinum record.

What exactly are the Sonar Power books?  They seem to get a lot of praise but I've never picked up one.   Does it provide any info that isn't in the manual?  If it's as good as people seem to make it out to be I'm strongly considering picking up a copy.

    Hey Ben,

Sorry about that... but there's nothing I can do... Amazon runs on its own schedule. Not even the book publisher can tell them what to do.

But thanks for ordering the book! I appreciate it.

By the way, is there some reason you didn't want to order from Amazon.com? They ship outside the US.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jay,

Yeah, that can happen if you choose the "free shipping" option. They do take their time with those orders, but I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure Amazon will ship it out shortly. They're usually very good with shipping. You could always contact their customer service it you're really worried about it.

    Thanks!

Still not available at Amazon in Canada. They estimated today, but it's showing as "not in stock".
If it doesn't ship by Friday I'll go order it at Amazon.com and cancel the .ca order.
    Hi Sean,

Yeah, unfortunately, it's always available later at retailers outside the US. Nothing I can do about that. So I always recommend people order from the Amazon.com site (especially through the links on my site: http://garrigus.com/?PowerBooks ) because they ship outside the US.

    Thanks!
    Scott
