Danny I just want to thank you again for your EQ curve ideas. Would you believe the client wanted the guitars to stand out a bit more in one of the tracks. (A Mix issue not me as such) They asked me if I could sort it without a remix. So I put your curve straight over it and sent it to them and they were very happy. No remix necessary. I appllied the EQ curve to all the others as I wanted them all to sound the same. Clinet is very happy now so thanks again.

A couple of things I have noticed as well. The kick has jumped out a little with some improved definition with this EQ curve you suggested. And I like the way the tops still stay very smooth even after a fairly hefty 4K boost like that. Your idea of rolling off the very top end is a good one.

I say it is very useable. Just to counter some opinions here. As long as you are not moving it while you are doing a bounce and you would not do that. I have mastered some lovely things though it and that is the proof of the pudding as they say.

I say the glitching is very minor compared to the sound and the fact it is a lovely transparent EQ. The amount of time you are moving it compared to the amount of time you are listening through it is very small.

Well, an EQ should be able to be sweepable. I just can't last more than 30 seconds diddling with the thing. Maybe I'll check it out again because it is one of the best EQs I've heard. Reminds me of Neve EQ. Thanks for the push Jeff.

Jeff: Ah man that's great news! I'm so glad that worked out for you. Man, imagine if I would have really given you some tips for that instead of the little 5 minute pass. LOL! Sometimes less is more though...and that's great it worked! You're wlecome. :)

Tim: I share your feelings on that eq. The audio silence while moving through it is a total downer. I use it for high passing and low passing these days because I usually know what I'm doing at that point and don't have to really sweep through. It kinda defeats the purpose for me to have that silence thing happening everytime I try to compare something or move something around. It's not a matter of patience (nor am I disagreeing with Jeff as I do love this eq) but that glitch just totally kills it for me to where I just can't put up with the imperfections it has in certain situations. Definitely worth revisiting...but I think you'll come to the same conclusion as before. :(
