Sonar X1 and Guitar Rig 4

I have Guitar Rig 4 with the Rig Kontrol pedal.  I'd like to know if it's possible to record the real-time effects, such as wah with Sonar X1. Thanks

SONAR always records tracks dry, to record effects in real-time requires a plug-in track recorder (ex. HGS WAV Recorder) or loopback through your audio interface. Alternately, record the control data while recording the audio and the playback should be identical to the performance.

Yup - record the controller movement.  It's kind of the intent, as far as I can tell.  I use a Behringer FCB1010 midi pedal board, which has 2 expression pedals, and that's what I do.

(I am actually a keyboard player, but I do play some guitar, and use the FCB1010 pedals when I record on guitar).
