Actually while it certainly isn't good behavior by Presonus, it's still a perfectly functional high quality digital mixer, which was always its main intended purpose. It's sad that it doesn't work in her setup right now but it's hardly a "useless" piece of gear or a "$2000 boat anchor" as you so eloquently put it.

Seems to be one of those unfortunate situations where a custom build contains a component that does not get along with the Presonus drivers. I briefly owned a StudioLive and the windows drivers worked without issue. I just didn't particularly like the desk.
