After I got finished with my project with iClone, I removed my GTX1070 8 GB card and put in the old 290X- 8 Gb AMD card to see if it would stop the audio pauses and noise when I move the mouse. It worked until I got a Windows upgrade. I read on the site where the people who had the same problem got rid of it by going to the task manager (ctrl/alt/del) and scrolling down until you see; "Background processes", and scroll down until you see; "intel services", mine were named boost and 32 boost. I enable them both by right clicking on them. Now I have no problem moving the mouse with Cakewalk or the Bandlab version. I'll be putting the 1070 video card back in here one day down the road. So the problem is not the Radeon cards, it's the intel services being activated. I guess I have to do it every time I load cakewalk unless I change the config file?
