I still haven't gotten an email from Audiomidi but I'm not worried about it. It was yesterday evening and I bet they got a LOT of sales. J

Edit: Check out this veideo link on the Plugin Mgr. http://www.cakewalk.com/C...Started-Plugin-Manager Thanks for this, I was confused about what it was. I am watching it now, I paused it to open X1 and pull it up. However, I just used control panel to delete EZDrummer, I plan to re-install it from the zip file I originally downloaded. I wonder if I should goahead and delete EZD lite also, since I now (supossedly) have EZD. I assume the cocktail kit is the same. One thing that confuses me is that EZD lite SOLO is 64bit and I saw no option for 64bit EZDrummer. I'm sure it is there, I just missed it. I will check for artifacts in the place I originally installed it and where I moved it. I looked befroe I deleted it and it was (where I moved it) in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VSTplugins\midi. I need to check my few other VSTs. I have POD Farm, EZD, and Awpitude3, Amp.. Fender, and Amp.. SVX that I am now uncertain about. The standalones seem to work fine, I may need to re-install the ones that are not in the right place and ask questions (if that is OK) if I get confuseder... (I got that wurd from Bapu.. I promise. I really appreciate it and hope I dont wear out my welcome. Frankly, midi/VST has always been the bottleneck that, in the past, confused me to the point of giving up but this time I refuse to give up or fail... but I will need some help. Going back to the video now and I will get X1 POWER! off the table behind the couch and read it instead of just walk by it. I am well aware that I have assumed too much and have not tried hard enough. It is hard being an analog man in a digital world... I actually remember when out phone number was Yukon5- #### and you could pick up the handset, press the buttons a few times and tell the operator who you wanted to be connected to... before the rotary dial. Cokes were a nickel... I am trying really hard to not get stuck in the past like SO many people do. Going to get and i-phone 5 for the wifey and myself and (Al Gore be damned) I will swallow my pride and get an i-pad too... but I will probably mouth off to them about my displeasure at that (insert name here) making one red cent off me. I will change what I can and try to understand and live with the things I cannot change. So, I am off to clean up any leftovers, re-install EZD... in the right place Program Files\Cakewalk\VSTplugins if I can figure out how to install 64bit and Program Files (x86) etc.. if I can only install 32bit. I REALLY want to stay 64bit though but maybe it don't matter. Then I wil look at all my other VSTs. All the CW VSTs like DIM Pro installed in the right place and I can add them and play them with a midi keyboard. Thanks again, and BTW, I have not read past this post Iam responding to with the link to the video, I will first read the rest of the responses. Really... Thank you. PS I hopeI can get this done tonight because tomorrow I have to try to price my business and try to figure a price to sell a Dutchman 747 popup and an antique RV (in case anyone is interested) a Mobilux that needs some TLC. Julien Well, like I said in my previous posts, EZDrummer really IS 64 bit but NOT the way it ships either via DVD or download. This, to me, is just absurd because they are shipping software that is vintage 2009 and then saying you have to go through TWO steps to upgrade it. So, if you want 64 bit then take the software you got via download and apply the 32 bit patch to update it to the latest 32 bit version. THEN you have to update THAT software to the 64 bit version. The good news is the updater asks you where you want the 64 bit version. It really amazes me that ToonTracks does this even for versions of EZDrummer that you download!!! Why they can't make the downloaded versions the most current 32/64 bit versions is completely beyond me. I can almost (but now quite) understand shipping older software on DVD but on downloads??? That is just criminally lazy to me. Good luck and if it helps any be aware that on Amazon's web site there are a LOT of complaints about the installation process for EZDrummer. So you are not alone. No luck yet... I deleted my install using control panel, I re-installed in C:Program Files\Cakewalk\VSTplugins I used the manager and could not find it at first. I finally clicked on the "excluded" button and there it was with no option to include it. Sooo I deleted it again and am installing it in C:Program Files(x86)\Cakewalk\VSTplugins Maybe this will work... I am beginning to have my doubts that anything is going to work. If it hows up should I add it to the existing folder where Guitar Rig is or create a new folder or does it matter? Thanks... I should know if this works soon. J

J I would make a new folder (Toontrack or EZ Drummer) under the \VSTplugins folder. I like to keep my VST's by the CO. name (Native Instruments, IK Multimedia, Toontrack, etc...), but others might have better folder systems.

Well, it still isn't right but at least I can see it now but it shows up as TT106WIN>install>program files>Toontrack>EZDrummer I can then move EZDrummer over to the track or choose it but that is the way it shs up in the synth list. I will keep working on it. Thanks, J

I am going to get the BFD Eco VST based on reviews I have read. I am a drummer so I like the ability to edit more deeply than EZD. I wish it was 64 bit but I do belive 16 bit for drums is OK for my needs. I am getting very tired of SD3 and want a change. I appreciate all the posts on this topic. Thanks to all. Rimshot

Rimshot Have you checked out Superior Drummer and an upgrade path? I recently got it for $99 and I believe the samples are 24bit as well as SD being 64bit. You can edit SD until your hearts content....and then some. :) There always seems to be a good deal happening every 3 months or so.

Steve Well sadly they got me at $79 so I guess in that sense they win and I lose ;-) The price of the Superior Drums 2.0 upgrade was at $89 on Amazon last week and now it is back up to $99. I definitely am going to wait it out on this.

Yeah they got me at $99 I think but that included the jazz & funk expansion pack so was still a bargain at the time. I would have thought they (fxpansion) might have lowered the upgrade price to BFD 2 a little as it's still around $199 on their site. A friend of mine bought superior and says he thinking of treating him xself to BFD 2 this xmas. January sales anyone ? :) Steve
