OK ... I think I figgered it out. When I drag a plug from the list there is a buy box that pops up immediately. If I continue dragging, I can place the plug in the chain and cancel the buy box. I *assume* the result is my TR4 version of the plug being added to the chain. This will get old really fast if I have to cancel a purchase every time I want to use a plug I have from V4

Have been following this thread and thinking about delaying downloading until there’s a maintenance fix. One question though. If you’ve got your own non-default dl file for regular use, but use the IK defaults for TRacks 5, AND download and authorize only the non-custom shop TRacks 5 (with or without ? “restore my gear”), does every thing work correctly?

Finally got in and got TR5 downloaded and installed but, natch, not without a glitch. Looks like Sonar scanned everything and all the new TR5 plugins work. But TR5 standalone will not open or run. It actually tried to bring up the GUI once but then popped up the dialog saying TR5 had stopped responding and needed to close. Dern.

Also, please note that there is a "version B" of the Windows installer that has fixed the issue where graphic resources were not found if you were using a non-default installation path.

Everything working for me. Just using the Free Version. Looks really good though. Glad they ditched the mickey mouse looking T-Rex skull logo.

I was wrong. These are NOT the TR4 versions ... I keep getting the "you didn't pay" noise. HTF do I use this with my TR4 plugs?! BTW, ARC 2.5 is beautifully integrated

My TR4 plugs now exist as TR4 versions and TR5 versions. As in they upgraded but I can use both within sonar. I assume if you're using the TR Suite you'll need to use the TR5 version?

Same here. Looking good. Sadly fixed GUI in the freebie. Too large for my macbook. Got all 29 of my T-RackS sweeties in there without a glitch and most presets only need those. Happy stamper me.

Well T5 is pretty sweet! It's not very snappy in standalone mode, but I bet that gets resolved soon enough. The Master Match is much better than any EQ I've tried with spectrum matching. It just may be a useable tool!
I'm just digging in, but so far T5 looks like a winner. It also seems to be getting more stable the more I play with it.

I wish the TR5 plugs would have overwritten the version 4 plugs. Now I have to keep two versions of each plug on the computer so that the old songs still open with the plugs. (pia)
The version 4 plugs are named "t-racks" and the version 5 plugs are named "tr5".

Got TR5 installed. SPlat found the new plugins, they load and appear to work fine. I really like the new metering suite.
As far as the standalone TR5, that doesn't launch at all. Sometimes I get an error message, sometimes nothing.

I already owned TR4 Max and purchased the basic TR5. Any time I pick a plug, I get the offer for purchase/trial. We're supposed to be able to use the TR4 plugs in 5 ... I'm trying to figger out how to do that.

I reinstalled with B (without uninstalling first) and performed Restore My Gear in CS.
I'm happy to report that all is well in TR5 stand-alone land. Off to try out the plugs via DAW ...

I agree. Very sweet indeed. Once I got everything sorted I have zero stability problems. I started a TR5 Wish List thread over at the IK forum for some things I think would improve it a bit.

Wow! I only played with it about an hour with just one song. And mostly just to see if everything was there and how the "new" look would be.
Have to agree with others. Looks great!! Even the old plugs look great!!
Found this is much easier to work with. Never did get the fell for the old stand alone TrackS. But this one I can work in. No problem at all.
IK did well with this one. Does it need improvements? Yes. But this is a great beginning.
