Hey Guys...I got the new 6-04.14 edition of Platinum Prod. and installed everything via control ctoutiFor some reason, it's not installing Th3 producer...I've re installed Boutique Suite several times and still no luck...when I highlight Boutique Suite, it still says Th2 is included...don't know if this means anything or not...
Any suggestions? Thx

The comments on Command centre still say TH2 for me but TH3 has been picked up by Sonar in its VST scan have you checked in Sonar to see if its there?

BTW, TH3 appears in VST3 audio plugins list!

OK...got it...downloaded command ctr again, reinstalled it...reinstalled boutique again, then rescanned plugins in sonar...it finally showed up...along with the other vst3 new plugs...maybe this will help someone else :)

A bit off topic, but is the Sonar version of TH3 a full TH3 version or a "lite" version of TH3?

It is fully functional (no limitations on savIng etc) but it is a lite version Jim.

......and quite a good product IMO.
I'm even considering getting the full version after playing around with TH3 over the weekend. (I also have Amplitube 4 and POD Farm 2, but TH3 was quite pleasing to use (with very little effort)......nice tones).

I like TH3. After using S-Gear I didn't go back to to TH2, but I'm noodling around with a new song and have three instances of TH3, Bassman on the bass and a Dumble on the guitar and Rhodes (EHX Key9).

CCLarry (our Chief Deals insider) has contacted Overloud on whether Sonar users can upgrade from our TH2 version......still waiting on Overloud to respond (see TH3 thread in the Software Forum). Hopefully, Sonar users can get this at $50.

I've updated my SPlat last week and played a few hours with the new TH3 Cakewalk Edition. I was very impressed and contacted Overloud the same day about pricing for upgrading to full TH3 from the Cakewalk edition.
I didn't get any response from them. Guess we have to wait and see.

I've been a Guitar Rig user for a long time. TH2 didn't really do it for me, but I have to say, the tones in TH3 are imho much superior to the emulations in GR5. I will certainly consider the upgrade if it's made available.

Good to know that Cakewalk and Overloud are aware of it and working on it. I suppose that there's a sense of urgency when a DAW maker endorses another developer.......I'd imagine this fix should be resolved rather quickly.

As a follow up, I contacted OVERLOUD directly and told them I have SONAR SPLAT with TH3 and a full version of TH1.... I never went to TH2....
They came back to me with a 30% off full price coupon code. Not such a good deal. I would have thought that if something was brewing with CAKE, they would have advised to hold off.
Now, I wait and see.

Thanks Jim, Too bad that's all they're willing to do.......I suppose it's still a new product. They'd make more money if they sold it for something reasonable (say) $99 rather than trying to get a minority buying at $199. They'll have more sales in the future......especially with that asking price.

Why do you ask? They do not list any address on their website...yes, that is a bit strange but if you have any concerns regarding taxes I am sure they can answer that. This particular sale would be for download. I know several folks here who have used them. (Myself getting the great Melodyne Editor3 to Studio 4 for $126 in April.) I personally did not have tax added to my sale (Missouri)
